We decided to upgrade our decade+ old ac before company came mostly due to the noise level. This one met the need! Its not silent but wr can hear each other over it. I loved the options of eco, dry, fan or cooling. The Bluetooth option is a very convenient ability so I can turn it on from work, however it has a timer setting too, so I mostly have relied on that all summer. We live in an old, drafty home and it was able to keep our large space comfortable with out getting too cool. The window fitting is a bit ugly and the hose placement was awkward for our needs- so I recommend paying attention to that before ypu purchase.     • Superb unit - this will go EVERYWHERE with me from now
Setup can be a bit confusing with the window border strips and panel - what goes where. But basically you are given 99% of what you need. My window is vertically waaay taller than it should be, but finally made the filler panel work. Worth every penny - saved me during dog days of summer when the top of the house is 10 degrees hotter than the bottom and I have to get a LOT of after-hours work done. NOTE: Highly recommend you put it on a pedestal of some kind - notice that the styrofoam piece used to pack it in the shipping box actually can be reused very successfully for that. ... show more

I would buy a Dreo product again and again simply for the AMAZING customer service. I purchased the Gold version and it was making some loud sounds that didn’t seem right. So I contacted their customer service directly and they replaced it without question! The replacement is noticeably quieter so the first definitely had a defect. My picture is here to show the color. This was before it was installed. The gold is pretty and not so basic looking like others. And this thing cools our large master suite quick! It’s a little big but it’s tucked in a corner so that’s not an issue for us. A little on the pricier side but well worth it for the good customer service alone. ... show more

    • Stopping working after 4 days
I returned this AC unit today after having it for barely a week. Setup was easy, though I found the window kit a bit flimsy. The air conditioner is nice looking, and the app is handy, but after 4 days it stopped blowing cold air. The compressor simply stopped kicking on, and no amount of troubleshooting seemed to help.     • Great, efficient, quiet room unit
This has been a great unit over a hot dry summer with Temps in the 90's. We use it to cool the large primary bedroom since our HVAC isn't adequate to cool a two-story house evenly. Quiet and efficient, it certainly serves the purpose extremely well and consider it a great buy/choice.

I just could not believe how perfect this unit works. This was a replacement for one that lasted only 20 years. Initially, I had ordered a window unit but did not want to mess with the storm window & screen. I did not think that I could find a similar replacement. I found this brand and researched a bit before ordering. This one (12,000 ) is enough to cover every room in this house. I can’t say enough about Dreo’s customer service!! I was working with Tina and she has been amazing. After UPS cut open the bottom of the shipping box to roll it around in the dirt, she helped ship out a new unit for me. When they cut open the box the window kit must have also fallen out because it was no where in sight. Tina has hands down made everything right!!
