Dr. Dreo in the house! Forget everything you know about fans from old....you don't have to live in the past any longer! The future is here, available to purchase right now! Luxury. Dreo looks the part, looks sophisticated but can get the job done. James Bond perhaps. Quiet. Ninja breeze. Like most have said on here, you'll start to notice about 4 speed and on up, and I don't think that's any fault of the fan working, but more so the wind speed coming out at that point (tornadic). Yeah I said tornadic. Natural mode is nifty for that random outside breeze effect, only in the app, which also works great. Features. Lots of options. Mr. Dreo will blow left, right, up and down in any way that you could want. There are 6 modes, 5 if you subtract turbo mode: Normal, Auto, Sleep, Natural and Custom. 9 speeds plus turbo, so it's more like 9 1/4 speeds. The display can be turned on or off or auto (ambient light). The app is super easy to set up and operate (a caveman could do it) and it lets you access all the features. It comes with a remote....is it luxury? No. It will get the job done however, provided you have light to see said remote. You can always lay your greasy pizza fingers on the quality touch buttons on the stalk as a last resort. Don't know what else to tell ya. This fan is smart. I feel smart having made a worthy purchase, as will you. Owner of 5 Dreos; (2 heaters, pedestal, table top, and ceiling fan) all still working flawlessly. This is the best room/pedestal fan i have seen, used or purchased. I have had it for a month. Compared to something like a vornado, this is extremely silent, moves a large volume of air, circulation and breeze is gentle, adequate and very comfortable. I think the max speed setting is 8, i have never needed to set the speed above 4, the throw is quite adequate 15+ ft away. Love the 150 deg horiz swivel, you can stop it anywhere. We have living room with dining table at one end and tv lounge on the other, placed in the center of the room the swivel on this covers both. Has a vertical swivel as well. The most versatile feature on this is the ability to set asymmetric and adjustable swivel angle via the app to get exactly the coverage you need. Has a bunch of other features as well, sleep timer etc. Looking to buy another one for a different area now.

Never in my life have I had this experience. I purchased an item that is not only perfect (well, except for one thing but I will get to that in a minute), but exceeded my expectations by a mile. This fan is gorgeous, silent, wonderful, effective, and loaded with features that it never would have occurred to me to even want. The way air circulation is accomplished is clever as heck. (Don’t believe those people on the web who claim air circulation is no better than a straightforward fan. They apparently have opinions but no knowledge.) The various fan modes are fantastic. The amount of control the owner has over all features is perfect. And no, I am not one of those shills who is—encouraged— to post positive reviews of things! Finally—as for customer service. The fan we received had a badly applied coating on the base. Returning it really was unacceptable because the initial delivery had required someone to be home, but the fan suddenly and unexpectedly arrived on the day previous to when it was due. We had already cancelled plans for that arrival day, and missed it on the day it came. So anyway, we emailed Dreo Customer Support directly about the color on the base, hoping to avoid reexperiencing such delivery issues. Tracy was perfect. Her initial solutions were unacceptable because they required re-delivery, so we asked for compensation instead. Without going into detail, this was simply the best treatment we have ever received in response to a complaint. Tracy was perfect too. Now we are looking around the house for other places where we need a fan—from Dreo.

I bought this fan on Wirecutter's recommendation. What an excellent fan! I have no faults to mention. It is quiet, the strength range is excellent. It has a lot of extra features, but they don't detract or seem to have increased the price that much -- and what one person in the house doesn't need (e.g. oscillation), another one likes. I've had fans and other devices that had clunk controls, or the touch was more frustrating to use than buttons, but the controls are responsive and actually enjoyable. The design also comes through in the details: the fan is light, easy to move, with a handle; there is also an excellent remote control holder. Of course this is a pricier fan, but it's far better than the two Dyson towers I've had (which I got because they were quiet). A friend also has a standing Vornado 783, which is great, but this DREO is more elegant and oscillates. I have industrial and box fans which still have advantages - they move more air and are cheaper (~$100 and $30 at HD and Walmart), but for most every day uses, this DREO is superior.

Absolutely love this fan and brand. App is super easy to use (unlike Dyson) and it has some really cool features. I love the programmed settings that include the fan speed changing depending on the temp of the room. Very powerful breeze even at low settings. I am able to keep my AC at a higher temp now using this fan since it keeps me very cool. The best part is the oscillation and how well it circulates air. In my opinion completely worth the money.
