Great for heating (or not), frothing AND mixing supplement powder. I have been using this 2x daily for about a month. I have purchased many many many milk frothers, warmers, mini bleners, blender bottles and often wound up using several containers and the microwave or stove top to heat the milk. NO MORE! This is the magic machine I've been waiting for! One little pot does all the mixing AND heating. And because the pot itself doesn't have any electronics (they're in the base) ...Nor any fixed moving parts, it is a brilliant design! The pot sits atop the base which has both the warming element and a magnet that works to turn the paddle or mixer inside the pot. The paddle (frothing) or mixer attachment simple drop over top of the post inside the pot and are activated to spin by the magnetic in the base beneath the pot. Automatic timer stirs and heats (if desired) to the exact temp you've selected. AND it mixes my Moonbrew (night tea) and my Mudwtr (morning tea) along with my Organixx Collagen powder beautifully! When I use whole milk I don't even need the frother for the most beautiful thick and creamy foam. Clean up is quick and easy. The little attachment comes out easily and the pot is dishwasher safe. Because I do use it 2x daily, use a bottle brush to clean out the pot and lightly scrub the disk attachment so that its ready for the next time. This one is a keeper for sure. Yes, it is pricier than some other options, but the designers have removed the issues I've had with others, it is so much easier to clean and eliminates multiple appliances for the task. I really love my Dreo. p.s. one hint if heating your beverage of choice...leave the lid off and the temp will be perfect as selected. When I left the top on, my beverage wasn't as hot as I wanted so I can only guess that top was causing a false reading of the beverage temp.

I’ve only used it twice so far and so far, it’s 2-for-2 on making the best soy matcha lattes I’ve ever made at home. My only other experience with a milk steamer is the Instant Pot Electric Milk steamer. Describing it as awful would be too kind. With this DREO Milk Frother, it’s the quality of the mix. No powder chunks of my expensive match powder that didn’t mix with the milk. Just perfectly smooth. It’s the ease of the user interface. I only use the right side since I just use it for mixing, but it’s nice to have a screen to view the many options. It’s the ease of cleaning. My previous steamer burned the milk with every single use. This meant I dreaded using it because it required a deep scrubbing after every use. There was also no sound indicator to alert me when it was done. The DREO jug only requires a good hot water rinsing and it’s dishwasher safe. I feel like a daily burden has been lifted. The only thing missing is a screen lock feature. The screen turns on so easily when touched and I’d prefer to not unplug it since I use it everyday. The price seemed discounted compared to other retailers’ listed prices and some of the comments here on Amazon. That just makes me even more pleased with my purchase.

I started apreciating my coffee much more after getting this frother. The foam it produces is outstanding. The machine has several choices of milk but I only tested with 2% fat milk, heavy cream, a mix with instantaneuos coffee and kalua! Results are great! I still didnt didnt learn how to make artistic designs. I removed one star because I have been using it for a month and the base is showing signs of rust. Im making sure i dry it every time I wash the cup but sometimes I have visitors whi help themselves.

Does NOT perform for Almond milk - I don’t care what these reviewers say. My Miroco frother finally went out on me after 5 years of dutiful service. I thought I would use this as an opportunity to get a higher performing and larger frother for the few days a year I want to make a matcha or sakura foamed latte for the family. All my AI’s told me Dreo was the best buy, with “exceptional” performance for almond milk. I made sure to read the individual reviews as well. Welp, after trying it, I can say for sure it’s LIES. All lies. Frankly, it sucks for all-natural, no sugars and fillers almond milk. First, I used Kirkland Signature Organic (Costco) almond milk religiously with the Miroco and it foamed up every bit. Just not as dense like whipped cream as I hoped. But it did its thing and I never had to worry that there wouldn’t be much foam, whether on hot or cold setting. But with this Dreo, Kirkland’s 1% protein organic almond milk just sits there like a sad sack of bubbles on milk. Like a kid playing with a straw. And that’s for the cold foam. For hot foam - what? Where? It’s just hot almond milk. So the instructions say to use milk with at least 3% protein. So, I go and buy Calfia Organic Almond milk with 3% protein. (Cuz I’m not buying the barista version with added sugar and fillers): On the hot foam setting it made a nice hot cup of milk - with a little bit of foam on top. When I used the cold thick foam setting, it was not thick in my opinion. Not as thick as the Miroco, so certainly no where near whipped cream thick. It was like some frothy bubbles but still at least a quarter of it was just milk. I think the Miroco, because it is so much smaller, kept the whisk in constant contact with the milk to really froth it. This big Dreo is too wide to froth no-filler almond milk. It is not at all what I expected based on the reviews. I’d say it sucks. Yes, I could change to a different kind of milk. But why? It’s a big nope for me.

After replacing five or six frothers in three years, I was tired of motors failing, probably with milk particles plugging the motor shaft. This DREO isn't just a 5-star product; it's a brilliant, well-engineered, carefully-thought-through product that likely solves this problem with a separate, dishwasher-safe milk container. Excellent Build Quality: Mostly stainless steel, there is nothing cheap about the DREO. The bright, clear TFT display uses both pictures and words to make selections intuitive. It’s also very quiet. The results for our main use—frothing soy milk for coffee—are great. The "Hot Thick Foam" setting produces a creamy, delicious froth. The DREO is a little more expensive than some others with separate milk containers, put it gives us more control. Brilliant Design & Control: - Milk Types: Dairy, almond, soy, oat, coconut... - Foam Types: Hot cappuccino, hot latte, hot flat-white, cold thick foam, hot thick foam. - Temperatures: Unheated and a range from 130°F to 170°F. - Mixer Speeds: Low and high. - The last setting choice is kept in memory for a one button start the next time you use it, after a reminder to insert the whisk. - The results are amazing. The froth, much better than with previous frothers. Documentation and Support: - The Quick Start Guide, Tips to Get the Best Froth card and User Manual are clear, concise, well organized and very helpful. - Obviously manufactured for sale in the United States and Canada, there are support websites for both countries and a toll-free number with support available M-F 9:00 to 5:00 Pacific. We have only used the DREO for about a week, so I cannot speak to its longevity, but there are few things that I have purchased that have impressed me as much with their attention to detail. My wife, after reading this review responded: "You gave it a raving review. It deserves it! It's great, unlike anything we've used before."

This is my second unit. The first one was from the initial crowd funding launch. The first one stopped working after a year and a half, so I decided to get this unit in hopes that it had been refined. I honestly didn't notice and changes or improvements. This said, it works well most of the time and when it doesn't, the only issues is that the milk does not get hot enough. Besides this issue, its solidly built, has a lot of options and is better than other similiar products. I onky use it to froth milk for coffee while my wife using the hot chocolate option. As for making latte art... Good luck!

I rarely write a review but this one deserves one. No sounds, mixing mode works wonders, great for cold foam, heavy whip and hot lattes. I use my breville for expresso only now. No spill or mess and fantastic design Great machine and super easy once you read the instructions.
