we have the hottest room in the house and it teaches about 80 degrees during the summer with the air on 72. I bought this fan and it literally blows ice cold air with a lot of moisture so that's the only thing it keep in mind! I will be buying again if this one ever breaks ✨

I live in a 1 bedroom apartment that doesn’t provide air conditioning. I don’t tolerate heat well at all, especially as I’m getting older. This fan isn’t designed with the user in mind, taking out the water tank and putting it back in is very tricky and messy. I highly recommend getting a cheap 1 gallon water pitcher, both to make the refill process MUCH easier and to ensure the water is cold since you can keep it in the fridge. The ice packs are okay, definitely use them, but should be combined with already cold water so they last longer. The temperature relief with this is near instant, even at half power. It’s still spring so it’s hard to say how it’ll perform in peak summer temps but I’m optimistic. I wouldn’t use it in places with mid to high humidity because it does use water vapor. I have no issues using it with closed windows. Water tank lasts me about 8 hours on level 3-4. The cord management isn’t great, it’s forced to bend sharply and sits under the weight of the fan, so I worry about longevity. The fan struggles a little when you first turn it on every time. Also, it came with a large chunk broken off of the inside mechanism. As far as I’m aware, it still works without it, but again I worry about longevity. Noise level is about what you would expect for a fan. Nice clean white noise. The filter seems easily accessible for cleaning, but I haven’t needed to yet. TLDR; not as good as proper air conditioning, but not nearly as expensive either. Get a water pitcher for much easier use. ... show more

I purchase this item when my air conditioner broke two weeks ago. I read all the reviews and made a wise purchase. Very easy to use, I just put cold water and one ice pack and open the window and the room was very cool. It is not an air conditioner but it did its job until I was able to get my air conditioner repair. Would highly recommend this item.
