    • Good machine could use some improvements
It’s a challenge to clean well and the motor runs hot and the fan eventually gives out. For the price they should install a higher end fan so it lasts longer than 6 months. Otherwise I love having this ice maker because the refrigerator at our rental doesn’t have one. The cubes are rounded, with a hole in the center so they do melt rather fast but it makes a good quantity rather quickly. It does take a lot of bottled water though! I wouldn’t recommend tap water with this machine. ... show more

    • Works well
This was as described. It is easy to operate and works well. The ice cubes are a little bit wet when you take them out but if you tap the basket a few times it helps, otherwise they bond together in the freezer. Glad we got it, we can have ice made with our filtered water.

    • Hates warm rooms
It worked great when we bought it in January, but the last few days have been super hot and it doesn’t produce like it did in winter, right when we needed it the most. It melts too fast, the scoop arm is confused too much as to when it’s actually full, and the low-water light comes on when there is still water in the machine. Now, I have to buy ice again because it can’t keep up. Update: I’ve downgraded this because for some unknown reason, the plug at the bottom stopped working. We woke up this morning to water all over the counter and floor and stuff was soaked or ruined. Now, we can’t use this thing and have to buy another. Money down the drain. ... show more

    • Needs a quality of life improvement...
This makes ice very well and consistently and it's easy to use too. My only issue is that you must empty the ice into a container to go into the freezer every few minutes or it will melt and drip down into the water area to be made into ice once again. So basically it's nice if you want to babysit it, otherwise don't buy it. ... show more

Have really enjoyed this machine! The ice is not as soft as I thought it would be but not extra hard on the teeth either. It's easy to clean and start up is easy too. The manual is not very comprehensive but does enough I guess..lol. Had a small issue with the ice maker and the company went above and beyond to help me!! So easy to use. 3 16.9 oz (1.05 PT) 500 ml bottles to fill. 2 sizes of ice to choose from. (Personally would love for it to be crushed.) Doesn't take up much space. As big as a regular sized coffee maker. Good for our small family ( there's 3 of us.) Not too long of a wait time for ice. Less than 10 minutes for first batch. Don't use all the ice?
