I ordered this because I had a very bad clog deep into my drain line. The clog was over 25 feet in from my sink. Every other faucet was draining great except for the sink. I used my 25 foot long auger, but it wouldn't clear it so I ordered this 35 foot l long auger. I ran it through and felt the clog, but it didn't clear it so I ran it through again only this time when I felt the clog I ran it in reverse. That is what worked. Before I was hooking it, but I couldn't pull it 30 or so feet back out so I pushed it, with water in the sink, to push it and bingo, that got it into the main 4 inch line so it moved on out. When the clog is deep, don't try to pull it back, push it into a larger drain pipe. ... show more

The quality of this drain clog remover could be better so that the prongs don't bend as easily. Doing this would allow this item to be used more than once. It works as described. Just wish the quality was better.

    • Unclogged my bathtub drain
I had a clogged bathtub drain, so I tried one of these and it cleared it up. They are intended for single-use, basically just a piece of plastic with hooks on it. Slide it in and pull out whatever nastiness is clogging your drain, then throw it all in the trash. It barely fit into the bathtub drain because there are cross-bars that hold the popup drain stopper, but it did work, and water is draining once again. ... show more
