This drain auger works as it is supposed to. Nice little carrying bag for storage. Take it out use it to snake your drain. Take it outside and spray it down with a hose to clean it up. This unit also comes with gloves so you don't need to get your hands dirty. Good to have for getting those pesky hair balls out of the drain especially if you have someone with long hair in the house.

Just like the other review said, the auger won't have an indicator for you know if it's reaching the end. The so called indicator is the "bending" of the coils, but nonetheless there should be an indicator that it's near end. Overall, I don't think it'll last.

I like this snake. It's cord is a little not as strong as of the regular drain snake, it is thinner, but due to the fact that it is rolled and you have to hold it in your hand all it once, it's heavy. So it makes sense that the cord is a little thinner. It does the job and the fact that I can even connect it to drill is great.

Pretty standard, which is exactly what you want in a tool. Solid construction, although not the hardest of plastics. The metal snake portion seems the same as any other. Easy to hook up to drill, easy to detach, projects and retracts well. Definitely needed at our house. We have older pipes, and had had issues with roots (which this CANNOT solve), but drainage is relatively slow. Saw good improvement, and very handy to have just in case. Pretty good auger!

I had this problem with my kitchen drain always, since I got this now I don’t have to get a plumber every time, I use it myself, it’s easy to use to unclog the drains on a regular basis so the big problem does not come back. Very satisfied!
