Works as it should definitely a good little set. The skin is a little thin so I would recommend putting it on top of something so you don't break/bend the needles.

As someone who is just starting out, I love the ergonomics of this machine. It's lightweight, well, evenly weighted for your hand, it isn't top-heavy with the power supply attached so it won't tire out the hand or wrist. The needle stroke on this is 3.5mm I believe and the one battery I received lasts around 7-8hrs for me. The practice skin it came with while it's okay, not the best one, it stains very easily and can make it hard to get ink off once it's on. You can use a little Vaseline or another type of ointment for tattooing to create a very light barrier between the skin and the ink so it doesn't deposit in the porous surface. Overall I say this is a very nice machine for the price point and suggest it for what it comes with. The only complaint I have is that I ordered the kit with 2 batteries and I only got one but I decided to keep it and have it as a back-up!

I love this kit! I currently am just self teaching myself so this is perfect for that. I ordered thicker fake skin but the one it comes with isn’t too bad. I honestly think it’s a deal with everything it comes with and the price .
