The gun works well. Very easy to hold and put everything together. Only reason for the 4 stars is because the package I ordered was suppose to come with the ink cups and grip tape...neither was in the package. Not a super big deal because you can get ink cups mad cheap and I personally think this particular gun is fine without the tape. However if the description says you are suppose to get certain stuff and you don't get it, well then you get 4 stars and the Robert De Niro lips not bad face vs 5 stars and a toothy smile.

The media could not be loaded. I attempted to use this product multiple times with virtually no success. The first time we took it out of the box, we followed the instructions exactly and it took us 2 hours of messing with it to get it to turn on. It only worked for a few minutes and at this point we were tired and decided to try again tomorrow. We tried to get it to work again the next day and it wouldn’t turn back on and hasn’t turned back on the several times we’ve tried since. I contacted the company and they were nice enough to send me a replacement which arrived today. Upon opening the box I realized they only sent the actual pen and power cord and not the power box. We tried it out anyways but it still doesn’t work. It’s very unfortunate because now we are out $100 and have no working tattoo pen. It’s also worth noting that the kit was missing a few of the more minor things it was advertised to come with like the ink and a few smaller pieces.

My first tattoo machine, and first ever full scale tattoo went great. It's a little difficult to get the ink distributed evenly at first, but I'm working on it. Very smooth, easy to figure out.
