For the cost, this is a great kit. Recently the guy I go to for tattoos had his shop broken into, vandalized and all of his equipment was stolen. He was in a bad spot as his income was demolished due to the left. So after a bit of research, I bought him some equipment and inks to get him started again. I’m not wealthy by any means, so I bought what I could afford. He was extremely skeptical about this kit given its price point. And after 23 years of using nothing but coil machines he was resistant to change from what he’s done all those years. I did manage to talk him into trying it out and he’s decided that he enjoyed using this kit and has now stocked up on cartridges and a couple extra of these kits for in the event something does go wrong. After doing a couple of tattoos on me, he had become confident enough in this kit to reopen his parlor. The first paid tattoo paid for this kit several times over. He’s extremely happy with how easy and complete this kit was and is now enjoying putting a bit more profit into his own pocket. The twist lock cartridge system allows for needle changes within seconds when going from liners to shaders and/or mags. Weight wise, this kit is less than half the weight of his older coil equipment making it easier on him to tattoo all day without his hand cramping up. His one and only complaint about this kit is that he wished the lead for the wand was a bit longer, but that’s not a huge issue as a longer replacement can be found easily.

I can’t believe how great of a kit this is for such a low price. Also came with some freebies like stickers and a bracelet. I already know this machine works very well because I have a friend who has already tattooed herself with it.

Can’t lie, for $50 you can’t really beat it. My ambition rotary broke right before a full week of tattooing. I ordered this in hopes of some quality work. Here are some of the tattoos I’ve done with it. Overall 9/10 only because power supply doesn’t cut off you have to plug it in to turn it on and unplug it to turn it off.

The media could not be loaded. Not really thrilled to open this up (like tearing off the plastic and the seals) and find out it doesn't work. The light on the power supply just kept flashing. I tried using different outlets and left it be for a little while but it didn't stop flashing. It stopped when I pressed on the pedal, but the needle didn't move. I don't know how to fix this, and I don't have a spare power cord to test. EDIT: I asked Amazon for an exchange for a new machine. Withing the same day of dropping off the defective product at the post office, I received an email saying my replacement was on its way. I received my new machine the next afternoon. That being said, the pen is really comfortable and easy to use with small hands, and I like the option of using the pedal or not. Bonus points that it came with cool stickers.

I ordered this in July (it's April now) and the last time I used it was in January. I recently tried to use it but the power supply did not work so I reached out to the seller and they IMMEDIATELY sent a new supply and the shipping was fast! I had been hesitant about ordering a tattoo machine off Amazon but I've really enjoyed using this for practice. I've also tattooed my own skin with Dynamic ink. The kit came with everything to get started - I just had to purchase sanitizing supplies for my space. Definitely happy with this purchase. I also have a Stigma machine but I really like the adjustment on the Dragonhawk better. Glad I bought this one for my first machine as it has been easy to set up and use.

Honestly the gun itself works well, easy to maneuver with . The wire that came with it was faulty and caused issues on initial tattoo's but bought a new chord for it and purrs like a kitty and doesn't skip !
