I, a 5’2” female, assembled this by myself in about 20 minutes. The product came packaged well and arrived in good condition. There are a few scraped spots with a little bit of rust but not bad. Items like this should probably be sprayed off and on with rustolem paint once in a while anyway. The directions were very clear. At one point when assembling the crossbar to the two side bars it seems that the alignment might be off. All I did was stand between the two side bars and press them apart with my legs and the crossbar bolt went in easily. It probably would’ve taken me less than 20 minutes but I had to go back-and-forth to the garage a few times to find a few wrenches to hold the bolt to the crossbar while I used another wrench to tighten the wing nuts. The color blue is beautiful. When I tried to move the stand around by myself the plastic rubber feet kept sliding out of place. It will be best to move it around with two people actually picking it up. This way the metal will not get scratched.

The hammock stand is huge but it needs to be when you have a big hammock. Purchased the stand for my husband as a father's day gift so he can use the hammock he has had for years but couldn't use since we stopped camping. He can set the stand up anywhere in the lawn when he wants to relax. With it being so big, it is hard to move around but it's very sturdy and well built. Would definitely recommend to anyone that has a big hammock and wants to relax.

Loving this hammock stand! I looked for months before deciding on this one. Probably the deciding factor was that it can accommodate several different types of hammocks. We have accumulated many hammocks over the years and can now use them all with one stand. Its fabulous. Very easy to put together, took less than 10 minutes. Feels very sturdy. Has supported 400 pounds, have not tested up to 550.

I use a hammock stand at parks that don't allow tree hung hammocks. This stand is easy to set up, very sturdy, keeps you higher off the ground than other stands and works well with my tarp. I wish it broke down in to smaller parts to be a little more portable, and a bag would be handy, but I would definitely buy this stand again.

We bought this for our 9 ft. hammock. Shipped fast. Very easy to build and move around. Highly recommended. I'm a BIG boy and this held my weight easily. It works with hammocks up to 14ft. in length and you can hand them several different ways. Very happy with our purchase.

I'd say this product is perfect. It being lightweight is good and bad. I came outside to see the hammock blown over a couple times. So I got some rope and some stakes and staked it to the ground.
