A good deal if you are looking for a combo kit that comes with a printer. Mind you, this printer is a small sized printer that prints at 1/2 the width of a regular stencil kit. But if you are looking to get a beginner kit with a smaller printer, suitable for smaller tattoos, this has everything you need. As for the printer, this is a basic thermal printer with fair construction. A little blockish and plastic in feel, but it runs quickly and generates decent quality images. You can take one regular sheet of stencil paper, cut it in half vertically to end up with 2 sheets that fits this printer. Installing app is easy, but what is funny is that I cannot see the printer in my bluetooth setting, but I can connect it via the app. The app is a common app that I have used before with printers from other companies and is fairly powerful unless you are a professional. Speed of printing is surprisingly fast. The tattoo machine itself is also quite basic. No stroke adjustment, but is enough for both line work and shading. Machine feels smaller in hand and is very light. What was strange to me is that the motor will run high when you first turn it on before dropping to your set voltage. That is very weird to me. There are a couple stencil paper in different configuration. One pre-printed, and two blanks in the printer, than the box also comes with one short sheet that needs to get cut in half. Ink, needles are ok. Cups are great, sealed in a sterile package in 2 sizes. I guess my least favorite part of this kit is the fake skin. Way too thin at 1mm and has a gritty or sandy texture. I think the selling point of this kit is the mini printer primarily, then the machine. Together, this makes it a fair deal, especially for beginners who do not have a stencil printer yet or want a smaller and more portable one.

This A1 Pro Tattoo Kit by Dragonhawk is essentially a great starter kit that provides everything you need, from a stencil printer all the way to fake skin to get some practice in. The stencil printer has a very easy setup process which allows you to pair effortlessly to your mobile phone and make the patterns a reality on your skin. The printer easily allows you to transfer designs which saves you plenty of time, its cordless, and the value of the whole kit saves you money. I appreciate that the tattoo gun is also cordless making the experience much less daunting and the battery life is pretty long lasting overall. If you know someone who is interested in tattooing as a hobby or has artistic abilities, this would make a great gift, as long as whoever has it is responsible.

This kit literally has everything you need to do basic tattooing included. Most of these kits include all of the basics, but few include a thermal printer for tattoo stencils. Everything included is good enough quality in terms of build. Pen is a fixed 4mm stroke length and has good operation. The printer is fairly small and only takes small paper, so keep that in mind. Both are wireless (printer requires app via Bluetooth) and have good battery life (pen battery has display and adjustable voltage). Everything is standard and easy to use. Great value considering everything that is included (black ink, needles, stickers, etc.).

I got this Dragonhawk tattoo kit as a beginner, and it's been really great for learning. The cordless pen style is so much easier to handle than those old bulky machines with cords getting in the way. It feels balanced in your hand and doesn't vibrate too much. The battery lasts a good long time, plenty for a few hours of practice or a small tattoo. The speed and stroke are adjustable, so you can dial it in for lining or shading. It comes with a bunch of cartridge needles, some practice skins, and even a little bottle of black ink to get you started. The ink seems decent for practice and small work. The machine runs smooth and quiet, no skipping or sputtering. Setting it up was easy, everything you need is right in the case. The case itself is nice too, keeps everything organized and easy to travel with. As someone who had never used a tattoo machine before, I was able to get comfortable with it pretty fast. It's forgiving for a beginner but seems like it would hold up for more advanced work too. If you're thinking about learning to tattoo or just want a solid cordless setup without spending a fortune, this kit is a really good starting point.

I recently picked up the Dragonhawk A1 Pro Tattoo Kit, and I have to say, it has been a great starting point for me as a beginner. The kit comes with everything you need, including the M6 thermal tattoo stencil printer, which is super handy for creating clean designs. Setting it up was pretty straightforward, even for someone like me who hasn’t had much experience with tattoo machines. The tattoo gun itself feels comfortable to hold, and it's lightweight, which makes it easier to work with for longer periods. I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth the machine runs; it doesn’t feel jittery at all, which really helps in getting precise lines.
