  • Finally a little peace and quiet!
Size: Pro version-B1Pro
Love these collars! Our dogs were barking excessively! At the wind, the grass growing, the deer they saw the day before...you get my point. These collars put a stop to that immediately! The kennels they are free loading in are actually not ours and are not on our property. They are directly behind our house but we do not pay thier water, fan, heat lamp, or light bill. They are highly unappreciative of the neighbors allowing them to stay in thier kennels and apparently do not care if they are evicted. I guess it is no sweat off thier back. Most times thier barking only drives us insane as the owner does not actually live here. But by God when they are here these dogs act like heathens! Let me just clarify, for everyone about to jump me for taking advantage of others, we manage that piece of property the kennels are on. It is not quite as freeloady as it sounds. We are going to put in an underground fence as our oldest dog, who is diabetic and almost completely blind, apparently hates her family of 10 years and loves to wander to the road to see how far she can make it away from our house before we force her to come back. Not once have we found her headed back towards our house! Not once! Until the fence is in they are forced to stay in the kennels because they make terrible decisions when we are working to put food in the bowl for them. So fastfoward and the land/kennel owners have decide to list thier property, probably because our dogs have driven them away, and these heathens seem to love to see who can get into the Guinness Book of World Records for most barks per second the entire time the realators are here showing the property. All except for our blind dog, go figure. We decided we would try to force them to show appreciation for free loading on this man's property even though they refuse to show even the slightest bit of thankfulness, hence the collar purchase. I guess if they continued to bark we would have run off any potential new neighbors and probably would have gotten to keep our wonderful neighbors, but in the end my respect for them won out and we purchased these collars. We put the collars on them and waited, and waited, and waited! These two heathens did not even try to bark! Not once in the entire hour we hide out in the barn waiting so we could be responsible pet owners and console them after this thing shocked them. I mean why stop now right! We were positive that beep and vibration would not stop them. Well they NEVER barked and we finally just gave up on the wait. Three weeks later still NO barking! I am thinking of getting one for my oldest child as she has not stopped talking since birth but I highly doubt even this miraculous collar would stop her. Now that I think about it maybe it is something in the water and I may look into having it tested. So all in all these are miraculous collars! My dogs are no longer ungrateful heathens and at least appear to be thankful even if it is not genuine on their part. I say buy the collar! They even work when they are not wearing them. When the collars are off I do not notice them barking. Battery life is amazing. I charge them once a week. P.S. Don't worry Karen I love my kids and thier never ending mouths and would never put a collar on them. So you can go ahead and hang up with DEFAX. ... show more

  • More helpful than anticipated
Size: Pro version-B1Pro
I actually bought this product accidentally thinking it was a training collar you know with the remote and everything and was disappointed to find out it was not that at all. That said, I have two dogs and one has developed a bad habit of barking at this poor old German shepherd behind my house that shares a fence with me and just having it on the beep mode he immediately stops. I might learn all the other modes but haven’t had to because my doodle responds so well to it as he typically does any “beep.” ... show more

  • Constantly reconnecting to Bluetooth
Size: Standard version-B1
Everyone who has a small dog knows how awful it can be when they just won’t stop barking. I found this collar and was excited to see that it did not have prongs or a shocking feature. My dog is very small and I would never want to use a product that would harm him. Overall this collar is doing a good job. The only downside is that I’m constantly having to reach for my phone and reconnect to the collars Bluetooth when my dog starts barking. This allows him to bark his head off for at least a minute every time a leaf so much as blows. This collar would be a 10/10 if I did not have to constantly connect to activate. ... show more

  • Skeptical at first, but Super Happy
Size: Pro version-B1Pro
Got this for my 70lb Labradoodle who has the LOUDEST bark I have ever heard. She is a great watch dog, alerting me to ANYONE who walks near us or our home...but she also barks excitedly when she sees people or dogs she wants to say hi to. When I would open the back door for them (have two dogs) to go out, she would barrel out the door barking loudly....anticipating someone or something. This has stopped that. Even after only having it for about 10 days...if she isn't wearing it and goes outside, MOST of the time she still won't bark. So I feel like it is working perfectly! She tends to be a bit of a baby, ok a BIG baby, and she was a little afraid by the buzzing sound the first few days. I would just pet her after and tell her everything was ok, that she was a good girl...and repeat the "no barking" that I always say when she DOES bark (prior to collar and without collar on). And she has adjusted just fine. She honestly reacted the same way she did when she had to wear the doggy diapers for her first heat. The pouty puppy dog face all day for about two days. Then she was back to her normal self. So, super happy with the purchase! ... show more

  • Barkers gonna Bark. This was a waste of money. First impressions won't last.
Size: Standard version-B1
This was the most amazing collar for your lab rescue for a while. She's a sweet dog and has made so much progress with leash training, etc.. But, she barks the most nerve-racking, stress inducingly loud barks out of nowhere when she's in the house. We bought the no-shock version of this collar and immediately told everyone what an amazing invention it was. How we finally had some peace and quiet around the home. It was pure bliss for all involved for weeks. Our sweet dog was finally quieter, more relaxed and so were the rest of the family, finally! But, our bliss was short-lived. Now a full 2 months later this collar is a reminder of how quickly you can waste $40 on something. Our lab eventually realized the world wouldn't come to an end if she ripped out a few barks. I turned up the 'progressive mode' values to stronger settings, knowing the end was near. Sure enough, a few days later it was as if the collar no longer existed. She's back to full-blown barking mode and we're back to a daily living hell for our household and rescue cat who dislikes it as much as we do. Save your money and put it towards a dog trainer. We did that earlier, but parted ways when a shock collar was suggested. Not saying we would consider that even now. But, a $40 investment toward a training session with a different trainer would have been a better investment for us. Your mileage may vary, but friendly advice....if you're enamored with this collar and it's only been a month or two, give it more time to be sure it actually works in the long-term. Don't have your hopes dashed like we did. If your dog has a barking problem, then this collar will most likely not stop that. ... show more
