Works really well with large inset pan and lid. Have poached six 25 pound batches of smoked sausage with perfect results to achieve 150 degree internal temperature. Holds temperature very well. I highly recommend this unit.

    • Won't Last...Period!
We bought 3 of these for our restaurants over that last 18 months and exactly all 3 have died. Well, I should say they probaly can still hold hot food, but their ability to cook and get products up to temp is out of the question. These counter top units generally loose their ability to cook at high temps as time goes on, but these are actually priced higher than some of the cheapies I've tried and they are the worst by far. These had the fastest failure rate of any unit I've seen in 15 years. I would strongly suggest you go with a different brand. I'd suggest an APW or go cheaper to a $100 unit. I'll bet you get more life out of that $100 unit than these priced at $160. ... show more

Of the four rubber feet it has, only 1 was on good, two were very loose and one had come all the way off. You have to take the entire bottom off to fix it. It is back together, but we're not off to a good start.

Very practical and well built. No more little warmer cans for me. This warmer takes one deep dish or better yet, two 6 inch half sheets for maximum convenience in minimum counter space.
