I didn't expect much after trying some unbranded soles. I have a knee that had meniscus and acl reconstruction done to it. Ever since then it's never been the same and as time goes by I can feel my meniscus wearing away and the two bones grinding at the joint. My patella tendon is very stiff and is uncomfortable when I have to knee down, bend down, and even when going down to sit. It, too, is getting stiffer every year unfortunately. Due to my right knee being weak I now use my left knee too much. Overbearing it and causing it to wear down quicker. Well I put these suckers in my sneakers and it really works. It somehow takes away all the weight off the knees. My injured knee almost feels like new and I can't feel the grinding, crackling, and the stiffness is reduced to less than half! It feels like I'm walking on clouds. Realistically it feels like I'm walking on tempur-pedic mattress with extra gel feel to it. Get a few and put them in your shoes and boots that you wear the most. These will be going into my running sneakers and working boots. They are way too soft for weight lifting, though I will try that out too. The only con is I don't know how long they will last. Cautious optimism here after using these for 5 days. I have chondromalacia patella on my left knee and was about to start a regimen of physical therapy and possible injections. I noticed immediate relief in the knee, and it's been slowly getting better each day! I'm hopeful I've found the relief for the chondromalacia that I've been searching for. I'll try and remember to update about how long these things last and if the pain goes away completely. ... show more

I walked the El Camino with these inserts and they worked great. However, after about 4 months of use they started making a loud creaking noise from rubbing against the inside of the shoes. Lubricating with silicone spray helped for a couple days. The inserts are not significantly worn. I expected these inserts to last the life of the shoes...not even close. They have only a 90 day warranty. That tells me they don't expect them to last long. I am disappointed. ... show more
