I love this fountain! It took a day or so for my girl to drink directly from the fountain itself. She drank from a corner, haha. But she got the picture. The filter is better than I’ve noticed from other fountains she’s tried. There are a couple of different options for when it comes on. Motion sensor and every 20 minutes. The rechargeable battery (C port) is so convenient. It’s close to a week between charging, or you can leave the cord in to charge it. Also, you can buy a backup battery and keep it charged so you can switch between charging. It is NOT dishwasher safe. Wrapping up, it’s awesome and you need to buy it!

The Pros: Let me start by saying that this is TRULY a wireless fountain. Just charge the pump and put the fountain anywhere. You can easily turn it off and remove the pump for charging while leaving the fountain itself where it lives. It's also one of the quickest and easiest fountains to clean that I've ever found. The filters are both OUTSIDE of the pump, allowing a quick rinse/replace as needed. No annoying little weird things sticking out randomly in the reservoir for no good reason (except to have to scrub around with a toothbrush). And the pump itself can be gotten to reasonably easily for a deep cleaning. It also doesn't really splash outside the fountain itself, so not much wiping up needed in the area either. You can also add water from the top. The slit where the water drains back into the base will funnel far more than the normal amount of water the pump pushes, so you can just pour extra water in as needed. (Mind you, you do have to be a little patient and not pour too much too quickly. But the fact that you don't have to tear it apart to refill it is awesome. That cannot always be said of fountains that keep the bulk of the water away from the open air.) You have your choice of modes for the pump also. There is a built-in motion sensor that is surprisingly sensitive several feet away, that turns on the pump for about 10 seconds when the cat approaches. Timer mode turns on the water every 15 minutes for 20 seconds. The pump itself is very quiet. So much so, that I hear the water splashing, not the pump, and even that is quite unobtrusive. The fountain apparently stops running when the water level is too low so as to not damage itself, but I haven't tested that. It DOES have a red light that comes on, indicating it's perhaps time to refill. And I LOVE that it has two different drinking styles. The main mimics a water faucet. It's their favorite. But it also has a small "pool" up top for those that don't like/can't get the hang of drinking from the falling water. The Cons: I could wish the motion detector flow lasted longer than 10 seconds. My old cats just don't drink that quickly and I end up waving at it from my desk nearby to re-activate the flow. But still preferable to the every 15 minutes as there are too many cats and they are not used to having to pay attention to time. Even a perma-on option might be nice, but I can see that causing the battery to burn out much faster. A SLIGHTLY deeper top "pool" with a SLIGHTLY larger drain into the reservoir. Just because I'm lazy and would prefer to refill slightly faster without opening it up. But a very minor point and hardly worth calling it a "con". The shallowness of the top pool does occasionally lead to some splashing around the edges or outside, but not much at all. Also super minor (and mostly for other cats than mine), perhaps a redesign of the pump someday, where it would allow a "bubble up" feature for the water before that goes into the more faucet-like fall? Not at all necessary in my book, but a thought to add a third drinking option that some cats seem to like. (But I'm quite happy with the faucet and pool and loathe to even include this as a "con". Just a suggestion really.)

Finally got a water fountain that works great and no cords.The kidz were a little wary at first but did not take long to get used to.It is extremely easy to clean,filters last awhile;and no noise at all.I've been keeping it set on motion detection and the battery lasts quite awhile on the charge.Works sso great that i bought a second one,plus got the extra battery for both units.HIGHLY RECOMEND!!![and the price is great]

I like almost everything about this, with one exception. Here is what I like... * It can operate on battery or plugged in * Super easy to setup and get going * Easy to change the water * Very quiet The one thing that annoys me (and my cat!)... * When the fountain see motion it starts pumping water. But it stops 21 seconds later, even if motion continues. After 5 seconds with the pump off, it will start again if it still sees motion. Here is what that means. My cat walks toward the fountain and it starts pumping. He reaches it starts to drink. After a few seconds the pump stops (21 seconds). My cat starts to walk away because the pump stopped. Then the pump starts again. My cat goes back. This continues. Water pump on, water pump off! It would be better if the pump just continued running as long as it senses motion.

Love the pure filtered water, my kitty loves it too. A little condensation forms under the fountain, when you go to change the water it might make you worry that it's leaking, it's not. I change the water every two weeks. Recharging the battery is a great facet of this fountain. My kitty has feeding g stations all over the house and she prefers to come to the fountain for a drink. It's very cute but she spills a little.

I love this water fountain for my (multiple) fur babies. It holds a decent amount of water. It's filtered and not only does the stainless steel plate easily slide out to be cleaned, it also helps keep the water from getting slimy. The water fountain option is very enticing for my cats.. However, with the machine on motion sensor mode. And I do have multiple cats, the battery does die a lot quicker than expected.. However it was a great "bang for my buck!"
