The first thing to note for the knockoff of a star is that I ordered the grey chair as it would have fit perfectly with my smokey grey furniture. but as I like to say, this is a first-world problem and I didn't consider it worth the hassle of returning the chair. The chair looks good and feels good. I bought this one so that I could put my original gaming chair in my office as I just started working from home again. The fabric may be a point of question for you and I'm quite pleased with it. It beats having my skin stick to the leather of my other chair as I usually have a shirt off in the summer. The fabric has a somewhat rough texture, but it is smoothed out and doesn't feel bad - if that makes any sense. The back vibrator works as you'd expect it to, but it has a little quark of negating my mouse when I plug it into my computer. I just have to unplug and replug my mouse, bada bing, bada boom, problem solved, but it's just kind of weird as not a single other device that I've plugged and played into my computer has caused that, so, I know that it's not my computer. My favorite thing about this chair is the spacious seat and how it slightly envelops my legs. It feels comfortable and immersive. I have lots of space and the arm rests feel positioned just right. It was easy to put together right out of the box. There was one other quark though. One of the directions that were supposed to be English was written in German, but the picture and a little common logic made it a non-issue. Technically, that's a three-point deduction for the negative factors, but they are very minor in my opinion, thought not receiving the color that I specifically ordered was disappointing, so -1 star for that. But you are now aware of the little quarks that came with my chair and hopefully, that will provide some good insight for you as you shop. ... show more

I’ve had the more expensive version of this chair for 2 months. After my girlfriend tried it she wanted one for long desk work. Would definitely recommend the more expensive one for heavier individuals (200lb / 5’10) and up. And this particular one for anyone under that. I’m 6’2 250 lbs and felt this one just a tad more snug but still comfortable. The leather one is more fitting to my shape giving me a deeper fit. However my girl 5’6 felt like this one was perfect for her. She’s upgrading from a regular chair and immediately felt the difference. Be gentle with the screws if you feel tension while threading them in take a step back and try a different screw in that hole. ... show more

I spend most of my gaming time playing Gran Turismo 7. I was using an old wood chair with pillows and as much DYI padding as I could, but after 30 - 45 mins, my butt would be killing me. I wanted something that had a very comfortable seat more than anything else. I just received this chair today. Vague instructions, but really easy to assemble (took me about 25 minutes to do alone). For the price, I feel like it's very well made, sturdy, and most importantly, it really comfortable. I played GT7 for about an hour and a half today without any discomfort whatsoever. The lumbar pad and head pillow are surprisingly pretty great. I don't really care about the foot rest and the tilt feature, as I need to sit upright to play GT7 with my steering wheel and pedals, but they're really nice features if you're playing a game with a regular controller and you want to get super laid back and comfortable. I'm an average (?) Sized man (5'- 8" 185 lbs) and this chair suits me perfectly. I'm not sure it would be super comfy for a larger person though. Also, it looks pretty cool as well. This didn't work for me, but my 9 year old and my wife love it. The BMW style sport sear is very narrow. If you're a guy over 190 lbs (I'm 5'11 220) it's uncomfortable, and my rear end isn't particularly big. Perfect for teens or thin people I think. I put it together pretty easily. There is a video on YouTube (search YT for the model # on box) that is helpful. Video is for a slightly different chair but in companion with manual it made sense. I was so excited to get this chair after reading some of the positive reviews. Set up was a bit of a pain, but not too bad. One thing I noticed right away was this strange chemical smell. Hard to describe. But I figured maybe it’d go away after a few days. Nope. Over a week and it still smells and the smell gives me a headache as I’m working. The seat is also incredibly stiff and it hurts your butt and thighs after a while. The footrest also feels very fragile, like it will break after minimal use. Every day after work I feel so uncomfortable and my back hurts. The lumbar pillow barely gives support and the headrest pillow is too low on the chair and it’s hard and presses into my upper back painfully, and I’m only 5’1”. I’m sure this chair would be fine if you only sit in it for short periods of time, but it’s not good if you are working from home. Save your money and get something better quality. *** Update 6/8/23 *** Increasing initial rating of 1 star to 4 stars because customer service from this company is exceptional. They reached out to me to offer a full refund without needing to return the chair. The unpleasant chemical smell has faded away, but I still don’t find it comfortable to sit in for a long period of time. We got rid of the old gaming chair because it was that pleather material and it started separating at the seams on the cushion. Plus the cushion wasn't that comfortable to sit in long periods with so overall that was not a great chair. Looking for a cloth variant, we saw this company and figured we'd try it out. Only had it a few days, but it's so much more comfortable, and being cloth, I'm thinking the seams won't split the same way. It was easy to assemble alone, comes with an instruction booklet and the Allen key. Half of the screws are pre installed, the other half are in a cardboard bubble page. The back of the chair being able to lock into different leaning positions is one of the best features. Very happy with this purchase. ... show more
