I wanted two small chairs that recline to use for watching TV or reading, and these work for me. The color is perfect for my room, and the size is exactly what I was looking for. It took maybe 16 minutes from opening the box to fully assembled. You only have to screw on the legs and push the back into place. The directions were extremely clear, and the chairs were very well packed. I read several reviews that said they were difficult to push back to recline, and I don’t agree. I had no difficulty pushing them into the reclining position once I figured out how they worked. I will say that if you are over maybe 5’ 5”, they might not be the most comfortable for you. I’m 5’ 4”, so they work for me. The cushions are firm, so I put a throw pillow on the back for a little extra comfort, but I think these are great for the price. ... show more

This chair makes a nice splash of color in my small bedroom. I assembled it by myself in about 10 minutes. It is on the firm side but I don't mind that and it is a little stiff to open but it might loosen up over time. I'm 5'4 and if it's me well but it does not fit my husband who is 6'5. I'd say anyone over 6 ft tall should consider a bigger chair. I placed it close to the wall and it still opened without hitting it. I think I will buy another one in a different color for my other bedroom. ... show more

    • 2 cheap recliners, NOT a single of higher quality

I bought this recliner because it was a little more expensive than some of the others and it was on sale. I assumed that meant we'd get a little higher quality. What I didn't realize is that this is a 2-piece set. So you get 2 recliners for the listed price. This does translate to lower quality. For instance, my ten year-old son tried to slide a recliner over by pushing on the side with his knees and it ended up tearing the cardboard layer hidden underneath the fabric there (so far it hasn't been too noticeable visually or functionally). The recliner is also a little smaller than expected in width, height, and depth. Not necessarily the best since most of us are over 6 feet tall. Still, the recliners are fairly comfortable despite the padding not being very plush or thick and being a little short. Personally, I don't like the feel of the large buttons on the backrest, but no one else in the family seems to mind them. But they are decent chairs if you are looking for a couple at a budget price. ... show more

I'm absolutely in love with this chair! I've always wanted a bright yellow reading chair for my library. It's pricey but it makes my heart so happy, which makes it worth it. The only reason I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is because it's slightly annoying to recline. I wish there was a lever to it or that you could lean back and it would auto-recline. But no, you have to pull the bottom part out manually which is difficult to do when you're already sitting on it. And if you do it before you sit on it, you have to kinda hop onto the chair. Annoying but overall I'm still in love with it. It's super comfy too, but I would definitely add a chair pillow for added support. Assembly took all of 10 mins, its basically just clicking things into place and adding the legs. ... show more

I am very happy with this purchase. It arrives in a box and requires assembly. However, there are only two sections of the chair and then four legs that screw into the base of the chair.
