I bought this Doumigo induction cooktop after my last induction hotplate stopped working. I have been to IKEA and Walmart to look for a new stovetop. Their offers are either too expensive or the design is not attractive. Luckily, I found this one on Amazon. There is a decorative pattern on the heating area. It feels a bit rough to the touch, but it prevents the pot from slipping. After installing it, my kitchen looks quite clean and tidy. After using it for a few months, I have to say it's much better than the one I used before. The heating power is very stable. There are 9 power levels, I use 4 or 5 power levels to cook butter, cheese, and egg. You can find the appropriate firepower for different foods, based on your cooking habits. It takes me a little bit of time to get used to, but worth it. There are some limits to using an induction cooktop. It requires a stainless pot or pan. Or other iron cookware. So it's a supplement to my fire stovetop. The most important reason I chose an induction cooktop is for safety. I nearly got fire in my kitchen before. There are timer and safety lock functions on this burner. It is quite useful for me. I don't need to count the minutes to turn it off. And I don't need to stand by the cooktops all the time when I am making breakfast. It cools down fast after I remove the pot, and won't get scalded by the residual heat. There are only two reasons why not 5 stars: - an extremely loud fan that runs ALL the time. Maybe all these do that. Still annoying - makes it hard to hear the 'sizzle' or if water is boiling, etc. - The user interface is not bad, but neither is it very intuitive, and seems to beep about something or other, and pop up an 'error' message for many different reasons (including removing a pan from the burner to the other side!). Proabably overly safety consciious, but still annoying. - The manual is largely useless - confusing syntax and word uses make it hard to understand what they are saying - but not that important, IMO. For the rest, though, a solid thumbs up. Ok, so it's got a complex chart that shows it's power limitations with both burners running (basicaly limited to max 1800+1300 watts, combined....I think). More powerful ones may not have these limitations...but may need a 220v connection? However, that's not so much of a problem for me as I rarely (if ever) need to run two burners at full heat settings. I found that all my old all-clad stainless cookware works just fine with it, as does, of course, all the 'less than 40 years old' Induction Ready cookware:) (Copper clad or those with copper inserts don't) But - the one thing I really like, is that, unlike an electric cooktop (ceran, in my case) it doesn't 'mimic' low heat settings by cycling on and off frequently. This drove me nuts, bc some things I cook want a solid gentle simmer, NOT a On-Off-On endless cycle. As near as I can tell this seems to vary it's actual power rather than cycling on and off (or does it in such away the pan doesn't notice??) In any event, so far it's been a joy to cook on. MOST Important - it's SO EASY TO CLEAN!!! Remove pan, make sure the plate is not hot (spilled boiling water can surprise you!), and just wipe off! No more daily scrubbing with abrasives, waiting for the cooktop to cool, and then using a razor to scrape stuff off, or weekly 'rubbing compound' polishing! This thing has sold me on induction - if or when I need to replace my range, or this plate, I'll definitley go with induction. This unit can either use it's supplied rubber feet, or be mounted into a cut out in the countertop (which might help reduce the noise levels a bit). For now, I've got it sitting on top of the ceran range top!!! Minor issues: - the power cord is routed to come out the side, not the back. Makes routing it to an outlet kind of awkward, esp as the controls are oriented so as to use it front to back, the long way. - for the first several uses, when in use, it emitted a fairly strong chemcially/electrical smell.. but that seems to fade pretty quickly (or I became inured to it:) For rest, it's very well built - sturdy, and feels heavy duty - frankly I tihnk it's a really good deal, and a great way to 'learn about induction' cooking or great in a cottage or small apartment, etc. ... show more

I purchased & received the DMG-30B4B top on August 12th, 2023. It was installed in the week of delivery. Everything had been fine until this Jan 2024 when the main induction burner gave a F error, which means "the connection between burner and control board occurs error." Their solution is to contact a technician. There is no contact information in the included manual or on Google, and I am now stuck with a half functional product after four months. If only someone can help me ! ... show more

I love this stove top. After using only a hot plate to cook on for years I decided to put it in while remodeling a kitchenet apartment. It looks great and works perfectly. Also, it plugs into a regular outlet. I did have a problem, but contacted the seller. They got back to me within a couple of days and helped me solve it. Since the top is glass, I will be getting a cover for it to protect it when not in use. Yes, I would buy from them again. ... show more

I’ll admit I’m a sucker for kitchen gadgets and small appliances. I bought this cooktop as an emergency device in case the natural gas supply is interrupted by shortages or catastrophe. It's also handy as an extra cooking surface for big meals.While getting it out of the shipping box it slipped and fell to the floor.
