Update: It bloomed beautifully. Twice! A second stem came up after the first a bloomed a few weeks later. Very happy. I just got it today. Here is a picture of the packaging. There was one bulb inside. The description says up to three bulbs. I should have looked at that more closely. It was nice and big but it did not look very healthy. Parts of it are brown. This was the most expensive of the amaryllis bulbs available online. I ordered two other kinds which will take weeks to arrive so I imagine they are coming from China. This was here in two days. Instructions are also included. I put it in water as directed. I will update the review to let you know if it grows. ... show more

Update to the below review - the bulb bloomed after the return date and is a reddish color with white stripes. Does not look like what is pictured. Previous review - The bulb looks very healthy which I am pleased with and am anticipating it growing easily once I get it planted. However, the bulb is not 36cm as described. Mixed review. I'm giving 5 stars because the other bulbs I ordered from this seller at the same time all outperformed themselves & were fantastic in my own home. I gave this one as a gift, potted, and ready to grow. I even gave her the instructions that came with the bulbs. I recently heard from the receiver that she hasn't had 1 bloom, but lots of beautiful leaves. I can't speak for her watering habits, lighting, etc, but assume that something she has been doing wasn't ideal conditions, as all of my bulbs each sent up 3 consecutive bloom stalks and were absolutely beautiful!
