in one of the reviews said could not use a prusik it worked for me and used a rope grab with it both worked really well- i used on steep roof- bit clumsy first ever used this system but sure took the worry out of slipping - the rope feels like has some kind oil protection to it but for roof no matter how steep i would trust it i weigh 170 lbs yes had to knot but a good hangman noose worked well to lock in the clips at end of rope very happy

Got tired of replacing my dog's back yard lead every few months. This is probably overkill, but seems like it will stand the test of time! Nice flexibility, easy to knot, and smooth skin. Very nice option and a great value for the quality!

I bought this for rigging down branches and small logs out of trees. The rope is a bit stiff and during cold weather it does get difficult to tie knots with. I have rigged logs close to 200 to 250 pounds with this rope, some of which were shock loads and it held up. For the price its hard to beat.

My old climbing rope(one of them) is much older and a larger diameter so there will be slight differences. I took side by side pics for reference to quality. I would definitely trust this new rope for climbing and the price is right for that or rigging. With my old ropes I ran one continuous rope for running over a limb, attaching to my harness, and attaching a prusik knot back to the rope. That's how I was taught and it has always worked great. This new rope is pretty stiff so tying a prusik knot was not only difficult but also resulted in a loose knot. That might be remedied once it is broken in but I believe using a separate prusik rope or device might be the best bet. I used to do side jobs trimming trees but age and arthritis have me unable now. I still do some occasionally as needed on my old property when I am able. I miss it and the physical shape it put me in. I have so much rope now I'm not sure what use I will put this to but if I need some rigging rope for a heavy load this will likely be it. No worry about twisting with this braided rope. Great product!

I use this so far to set a telephone pole, lifting my gear into my tree stand, and to string up my wild game. Its a great option with tons of uses even though its only 50'. Its solid and strong and will last a long time with some good care. I would definitely suggest this rope for any hunter or hill climbing adventurist.
