These hammocks last a long time, even when exposed to direct sunlight and weather. I finally had to replace mine after several years of outdoor use. The material is less irritating to bare skin than a lot of the cloth ones that are sold. I will purchase this one from now on. I have had a large hammock stand for many years. It used to be that many hammocks were fifteen feet but now 14 is the normal. Fortunately this one has that extra length. It is strong and well made.

So happy we purchased this hammock. It is large and comfortable - and the fabric dries so quickly after rain. The only thing I would change is that the wooden parts at top and bottom of the hammock are unfinished. It would be nicer if they had a waterproof finish, but I can add that myself.
