At first I thought the product didn't work, but after reading the directions like 4 times, I found all the information I needed. The lights only turn on at night, which makes sense. Once the lights did kick on at dark they lit my whole backyard up, the remote works from a good distance and the solar panel is great, the day after I installed it we had heavy rain all day and the panel still got enough charge to run lights all night. I love these lights. The 3 different color of whites and yellows are so cool. I also love the different brightness of the lights too. What makes it even better is that it’s getting powered completely from the sun!! My only complaint is that you have to wait until it’s pretty dark outside before you can turn them on. I like that these are solar and don’t need to be plugged in. They look nice. However, even on a sunny day, the lights don’t get very bright at night which is disappointing. When I first connected them they turned on and were brighter then than they have been since I started using them. I have the settings turned up as bright as they can go. I didn’t want to fool with lights that plug in to an outlet but I might since I’d like to light up my patio every night. ... show more

Although I’ve only had a short time they have survived rain and thunderstorms and dropping while trying to hang. They are bright and clear. I like the options of time and rhythm.     • Lightbulbs trap moisture inside and die!

Since there are no drainage holes in the lightbulbs (like other solar string lights I’ve had in the past) condensation collects inside of the bulb. All of the bulbs that have moisture inside have stopped working. I purchased replacement lightbulbs, but they didn’t work either. The point of contact on the metal part of the bulb is an oddly specific length so the replacement bulbs I got couldn’t reach the contact point in the socket…I think. Very disappointing considering these lights looked very promising and I liked the remote features! But I live in Washington State where there’s a lot of weather and these string lights couldn’t survive. ... show more
