i love it. i just bought a ring doorbell (regular one, not the plus) and it holds great. it doesn't mess with the motion detection outside and works great with my ring. it was super easy to install and had a strong hold on the doorbell and my door. i have it for my apartment so i didn't want to drill any holes in the door and this is a very nice and great alternative. i also don't have to worry about anyone just ripping the ring off my door since it's a heavy duty metal. i didn't use the command strips it came with since it fit snug on my front door without but it's a nice option for smaller doors! i would highly recommend and buy it again if needed!

I live in a rental townhouse and cannot mount with hardward but wanted a doorbell with camera and did not want to rely on command strips for install. I purchased a Aosu ultra and this works. There are a range of cushions included that allowed for me to pack around my doorbell. It is truly all secure in the boa unit and allows for full function of the doorbell. It includes a command-type strip on the compression to help secure it from sliding down the door, but my door is just big enough that i didn't need to use that. The door frame is tight enough to hold this boa in place, no chance of it sliding down the door. I will say that this boa didn't fit completely snug against the door so there is a slight gap between the door and the boa frame but it still closes into the door jamb just fine, a little tight but that holds it in place better. Overall, i would definitely recommend this as a hardware free install option for camera doorbells.

Extremely convenient especially if you don't want to commit into drilling anything on your property or if you are a renter or just want to use it for your dorm or your Airbnb rental. After we sold our house we moved into an Airbnb for the time being and the property manager did not let me install my ring camera so I was looking for options my 13-year-old son informed me of a video he saw on tiktok. He sent me the full information and I was impressed of what I read from reviews on amazon. The door I installed this is extremely thick a little bit over two and a half inches and the Doorbell Boa fit in this perfectly it's nice and snug it doesn't slide down it's not loose at all and it stays in this place. It definitely brought us a sense of comfort especially since the front door has a keypad in order to get in the house. The casing of the Doorbell Boa is extremely thick and durable and seems extremely safe from being vandalized or stolen. This product really blew me away on how perfectly it is and how convenient it's become for us to use this. I highly recommend it all the negativity I read on here is outweighed by the positivity of the product and what it gives us as consumers.

I like design and ease of installation; however, it's unlikely that this model will hold up with extreme temperatures here in New Orleans and will degrade over time. Next time around, we're going with a white mount which might reflect sun. This mount wasn't installed long enough to know one way or another. See the attached snapshot: 1 - The back door mounting assembly is made of sturdy but thin metal, so that it won't get stuck in narrow door jambs. 2 - The protective case is thick plastic. 3 - It's difficult to tell from my photo, but the bottom cameras on dual-cam units such as ours need to be unobstructed. We're not returning this purchase because it did fit our Eken video doorbell just fine, but I threw away the packaging, and then decided to go with a battery-operated Eufy Dual Camera T8213. Unfortunately, the Eufy won't even come close to fitting inside this mount and that's not the DoorbellBoa manufacturer's fault. All in all, I would say this is a worthwhile buy. It probably won't stop a persistent thief, but nothing else would either.

I love this! 1st....I'm a 50 year old single female. I do not want to install anything! This doesn't require mounting, tools or screws. I paired this with the EUFY batter doorbell system and LOVE IT!!! It's even better if you are a renter or think you'll be moving often cause easy removal! I'm considering buying another for my backdoor. This slides right on your door. I was nervous cause my door is tight fitting and doesn't have much of a gap but it still fit! And, easy to remove when you have to charge up the door chime itself! I go out of my way to find no installation, no tool products (been there done that and just don't enjoy doing installation stuff and don't want to pay someone to do wiring stuff either ) My only thing is I thought it was a little bulky. But, great system in sense that no one can rip your camera off and walk away with it.

I want to start by saying this seems like an excellent and very sturdy doorbell mount, no issues with the product itself. However, if your door swings OUTWARD this will not work. Your door has to swing inward in order for this to work. That’s with every doorbell mount of this style. I didn’t realize until it was already delivered and i tried to install it, as you can see in the video, my door won’t close completely and it won’t lock at all so i cannot use it. I was frustrated so i went back to the product page and realized it says “can only be used with inward swinging door” It’s my fault for not reading everything and just impulsively purchasing but I want to save anyone else the hassle and waste of money.

I purchased the Doorbell Boa because I wanted to patronize the original product but man their customer service sucks when it comes to replacement. I purchased the product on March 14, 2022 from Amazon and the product was delivered quickly. 3 Months after using the doorbell boa, a first incident happened: a homeless person tried to yank my Doorbell Boa from my business door but was unsuccessful in removing it. However he was able to bend the case enough to face outward to the right. I tried to bend the metal casing back to shape hoping that they won’t attempt to try again next day and hoping i can contact doorbell boa's customer service about it on the first business day (Monday). I put the case back with the bottom going under the door handrail so that the person will have a hard time prying it out of the door because the handrail is against it so it will make it harder to take out. But on the following day after the first incident (Sunday morning) another homeless person was finally able to yank it out using a crow bar and took out my Ring video doorbell, all while i watch and scream at him while he’s doing it. I did report him to the police and he got caught about an hour later. The next day (Monday), I reported it to the first customer service and I was told to contact another company to report the incident and process a replacement. I immediately emailed the company as instructed and got an answer back same day. That was June 13th. The email then asked me to send the shipping address to which I immediately replied. I even offered to send the broken pieces so they can perhaps improve their design but they did not reply. Now, more than a month later, I still do not have my replacement and I still haven't put my ring video doorbell back. I would not recommend this because if something happens to your doorbell boa, you cannot rely on the company to help you out with a simple replacement.
