This is a good quality Tablet … these are one of my go tos because I order hundreds of tablets a year. My business donates them for nonverbal kids. This is one of my favorites due to the fact it’s affordable, it’s fast (no one like to wait for loading) , battery charges quickly and last pretty long depending on what you are using it for. I love the size of these because we download a talk app on them and it’s perfect for the kids to see their words! Also it’s very easy to download the apps we need on them! This package is bonus because it comes with the keyboard and the mouse which is awesome because it gives the children the option to learn a computer and use it like a computer at the same time! So we can also teach them how to type and navigate the mouse! Overall the price for all this together is so affordable you can’t go wrong!

I'm an Apple snob and have been using MACs for 25+ years. So as much as possible, when it comes to computing tech, we stick with MAC or iPhone or iPad, etc. I know, I get it, it's very snobby of me and Apple products aren't exactly affordable. I share the above to give you a sense of who is reviewing this tablet. I have certain standards based on my Apple experience which may set the bar a bit higher than the rest. So with that said, I had my doubts that this off-brand Android tablet would stand up to my standards. To be clear, we picked this up to have around the house for workouts, quick access to the internet, sitting out on the deck watching YouTube, etc. Nothing too serious. Because it was going to float around the house and it was not one person's responsibility, I didn't want something that was too expensive. Fit & Finish: Overall, this DOOGEE 11-inch tablet appears and feels to be well made. The back is all aluminum and when I asked the question if the screen was glass or plastic, I was told by the seller that it is glass with an anti-fingerprint layer on top. The overall feel of the tablet is good and all of the different materials seem to fit together well. I've seen and held other really cheap tablets and this one feels much better. It's not iPad quality but there's really nothing about the fit and finish to complain about... although the anti-fingerprint layers does seem more like a fingerprint magnet. Function & Operation: Speed/function: Generally speaking, the tablet does what it's supposed to do. It's not an iPad and its speed is noticeably slower than an iPad but it's also one-third the price of an iPad. Having said that, the speed/lag is not an issue. I'm not waiting for things to open but the lag is there. So far I have not had any issues with any of the apps I've installed. No crashes, no odd or strange glitches. So far it's run just fine. Screen: Thankfully, screen brightness is fine. I use it out on the deck while enjoying a glass of bourbon and a cigar and watch sports or YouTube and have not had any issues with the lack of brightness. Touch sensitivity hasn't been an issue either. Again, I was told it's glass and the finger print protection kinda sucks. Sound: The sound is actually pretty good and I enjoy using it without headphones. My wife uses it for her workouts and has it cranked up pretty loud so the speakers seem to do their job. Overall: Overall, this has been a great budget tablet option for us to have around the house and how worked well for its intended use. The fit and finish are solid and its operation has been on par so far. If my opinions change over time, I'll be sure to report back and update this review.

I use tablets to read books. The battery went from 98% to 23% in five- and one-half hours as I was reading. Is this the best I can expect, or is it defective? I'd like to ask the manufacturer, but I haven't found a way to do that so far.

This is a budget-friendly Android tablet. The screen is large, high-resolution and beautiful. If you are looking for a new Android tablet that runs the latest version of Android (V14) you should give this tablet some serious consideration. The Bluetooth connection paired easily with my BT speakers. I streamed music off the Internet and it sounded good and performed flawlessly. No skips or dropouts. There was plenty of volume available. I watched a portion of a HD movie I have stored on my local area network NAS server. It performed well and looked great. I worked with it for several days and found that almost all applications run on it without issue. One in particular refused to run. I'll discuss that later. What I like o Budget friendly tablet that has almost all the features found on high-end tablets. o Large high resolution screen. Makes watching movies and viewing photos a pleasure. o Runs the latest version of Android, at least at the time of this review. o Sleek metal case. Not cheap plastic. o Has built in FM radio. Just add headphones for an antenna. You can optionally record the audio. o Four speakers on the ends provide stereo audio. Audio quality is sufficient for the size of the speakers. o Memory can be expanded using built-in TF card carrier. o Large battery lasts all day under continuous use. o Uses modern Type-C connector for charging, not the outdated Micro USB. o Wall wart charger and charging cable are included. o Can be used with cellular networks if you have a SIM card and subscription. (I didn't test this.) Testing o Downloaded applications I tested and are confirmed to work: Outlook, Yelp, NOAA Weather, Kodi, Spotify, Skype, RSBN, iHeartRadio, Duckduckgo Browser, Yelp, VLC, File Manager+, Weatherbug, and MS Launcher. What Could Be Improved o The only app that didn't work was Pandora. It consistently gives a connection error on startup. This latest version of Pandora runs on my Android phone and my other Android tablet. o The camera yields mediocre images. I attached a photo I took with it of flowers. You can be the judge. o The audio on the FM Radio app is weak. I had to turn it all the way up for it to sound right for my ears. o There is no fingerprint unlock feature, just face recognition unlock. o No wireless charging capability. Summary Comments You get a lot of high-end features with this budget friendly tablet. Although it failed to run Pandora, there are other music streaming apps that work well with it. The screen is large and beautiful and is perfect for watching movies or doing Skype sessions. The battery provides a full day of use. If you need more memory, you can add it inexpensively by inserting a TF card. If you are looking for a large screen Android tablet that performs well, this is worth considering.
