This was another one of those “cry once” purchases for me. I am gradually getting our concrete garage floor expansion joints caulked up (with Sika self leveling). I use the slowest setting on the dial, and then I only need to worry about the speed I move along the floor rather than also needing to worry about out trying to manually squeeze out the caulk at a consistent rate. I can’t imagine how sore my fingers and forearm would be if I had to squeeze out all those tubes of Sika with a manual caulking gun.

Bought it to put down expansion joint sealant on the concrete. Works great. Dialed in the speed and keeps an even bead the whole tube.

My only complaint is that I wish I had purchased this sooner. It's a really well executed tool. I really dislike caulking and find it's really tough to get a professional look. A few years ago I moved from manual caulk guns to a pneumatic unit and that was a good improvement. The negative there was being connected to an air line and the flow was inconsistent (constant air pressure doesn't equal constant plunger movement). This thing just nails it. The speed adjustment is perfect (I only really use it at about a 1-2 and the output is super consistent. I've put about 10 tubes of caulk through this in the first couple days and it's a game changer. Also, the M12 seems to be plenty. No need for the bulk and weight of the M18 setup.

I had a Ryobi ( heavy, and had to clean daily because of blow-outs). My colleagues mostly have this Milwaukee cordless caulking gun, and had observed great reliability. I’m new to using battery powered guns so I’m still dialing in proper speed for gap size. So far I love it. Light and easy to control . Uses very little power for a tremendous amount of caulking. I highly recommend to anyone who has carpal tunnel syndrome and still needs to do caulking.

This Milwaukee 10 oz Caulk Gun. Is a real game changer. It is so easy to produce a smooth clean caulking result without pumping a caulk gun or squeezing a tube while trying to keep a steady stream as your moving across the surface. Whether it is in your bathroom or kitchen, all you do is preset the flow rate, pull a trigger and smoothly draw the nozzle across the area to be caulked. I’m using mine for a greenhouse project and it is making short work that is fun for a first time caulk gun user like me. As far as the cost goes, it is a great value for a great quality tool. I tried using a hand pump caulk gun and there is no comparison. That gun has been donated to our local charity.

Pros: 1. this gun will save your hands and forearms from caulking cramps you would normally get, with 400 pounds of pressure behind it 2. Speed of flow is a dial you can adjust, even mid application 3. You can buy the 29oz caulk accessory if you want to use different sizes 4. Battery life is pretty fantastic 5. It's Milwaukee, and like most Milwaukee, it is all heavy duty and can handle a tumble on asphalt and concrete as well as dirt Cons: 1. If the caulking is old or the tube is too cold, the caulking can explode out the back of the tube and cleaning the gun be a bit tedious (though it's way better than trying to reef on a cold tube with a hand gun) so make sure to keep your tubes warm at the very least to minimize potential messes, and if you have to shoot it cold turn the speed dial way down 2. If you do not clean this thing after a couple of caulking tube explosions and the caulk was especially gummy, it will effect the power of the push motor, and it'll be even harder to clean. 3. The thing is heavy with its motor having all the force behind it, though that is actually more of a boon than not: it helps keep pressure upon your application of caulk so you don't have to press into corners/edges. 4. Metal ringed tube ends can get wedged into the silicon tube holder and getting those ones out can be a booger All in all? If you use caulking regularly and have Milwaukee m12 systems this is an incredible must buy.
