If you are an apprentice automotive/aircraft mechanic or liscenced mechanic in either field, I would highly recommend this kit. I myself do aircraft maintenance and tool control is extremely important! So this coming in pre-shadowed foam with the size rachet/adapters/sockets is absolutley helpful! The ratchets are rather sturdy and have held up rather well considering I have put them through hell and back. The sockets are very well made, I've never had an issue with any of them slipping or rounding out bolt heads. The adapters are also surprisingly tough! I broke one of my adapters trying to get an aft trunnion nut off a CRJ and put well over 300 ft lbs of force on it a few times before it broke. I attached it to a 24 inch 3/4" breaker bar and literally hung on it. I weigh 205 pounds and that thing held every bit of my weight. Needles to say I was impressed with them lol. This kit is also infinitely cheaper than snap-on tools and have rather similar qualities. Definitely worth the purchase. ... show more

Never experienced slipping or rounding out bolt heads with these adapters. Surprisingly tough - broke one trying to remove a trunnion nut, applied over 300 ft lbs of force multiple times before it gave. Attached it to a 24" breaker bar, held my 205-pound weight effortlessly. Definitely impressed! Kit is a more affordable alternative to Snap-On tools, offering similar quality. Excellent item, the range of socket sizes are way above most other socket sets. 90 tooth ratchets are much better than the standard 70 tooth range, but not as good as the 100+ tooth in other sets. You get 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 inch ratchets and adapters, extensions and universal joints. The only reason I gave it a 4 star review is because it is 90 tooth and it didn't have a case.
