I purchased this for an overlanding trip so I could have privacy. What a game changer, I am so happy I purchased this Samout brand. This unit erects quickly and intuatively. When open it provides ample room to do whatever you're using the room for. I love having this unit for camping also, I can be totally self sufficiant on any adventure. The roof is a nice addition also, alot of the brands dont come with the roof, so some guys mount there room under the awnings, but that takes away from the real estate, haha. Oh and one last thing is the ripstop material is awesome and the added interior blackout helps with the privacy. Hope this review helps!

Parts were missing on arrival but the seller mailed me the missing parts. This seems to be better built than other brands, my only gripe is even when staked down if there is a small gust of wind the 2 outer bars push into a triangle rather than a square. It would be nice if on a future update there was a way to lock the bars in place or add another support bar between the left and right bar holding the fabric.

I purchased this shower awning because it was more in my price range. So far I am liking the quality of it. I haven't used it yet, but it seems sturdy and well built. The hinges are a bit stiff but I will grease them up so they work a little bit smoother. I have this mounted on my Santa Cruz on cross rails. I had to get different hardware for it to mount so be aware of that.
