This was somewhat of a bear assembly. A lot of parts and Ikea type instructions. It took me 14 hours to complete. You definitely want to skip the tools that come with the product and get a bit and use a power drill with the bit. This is a great looking product. Quality materials and very well engineered. Excellent shipping via Fedex. The boxes (5 of them) were banded and taped and all were perfect when they arrived. I received an email from a representative from the company thanking me for my order and telling what to expect of the deliveries. They said they would contact me to follow up after I received the product. There was a piece that was broken, I contacted the company via the email that I had previously received, he ask for photos. I sent him the photos of the broken part and they promptly shipped me a replacement, via Fedex, from Shanghai China, that was received in Five days. This quality Gazebo arrived within days promised (Fedex issue) and in perfect condition. Boxes were reinforced at every corner and every piece was covered in foam wrap to insure it arrived safely without minimal to no damage. All hardware was vacuum sealed on cardboard and easily identifiable. Box 5 is heavy 100+ lbs, but all other between 50-60 lbs. This is the first Gazebo my husband and I have ever put together. The instructions were clear and concise, just take your time to understand the step before doing it and you'll be fine. Could have use a 3rd set of hands for framing the roof, but that's it. Not necessary, just would have made it a bit easier. We built it in about 12 hours, frame one day, roof the next, but a more seasoned individual may be able to complete it faster. Built this for my parents for some added privacy in their backyard and they absolutely love it. Serious brownie points! They watched the whole process and were amazed at how well made and easily we made the build look. I did contact customer service but it was due to the shipping issue (Again, fedex's issue). Not only did they assure me it was moving my direction, they continually reached out to me until the day it arrived. They are very serious about customer satisfaction!     • Nice but can be challenging to assemble.

It's a lot of parts and be prepared to spend a few days building it unless you have a lot of people and even then the directions may slow you down. You will need at least 2 people. The directions can be tricky and could definitely use more information but if you are mechanically inclined and a natural troubleshooter, you should be fine. Just take it slow because some areas of instruction are tricky. The curtains are nice but I wonder when summer comes around, if the pesky mosquitos will make their way through the gaps on top of the curtains. Also the screens for the top portion of the gazebo don't exactly sit flush so there are small gaps there too. Gutters are nice but small so in a downpour they won't be very effective. I did have a question and the seller responded in about a day. The video they have in the photos section is really good to get you started. Get a drill with torque control and a socket set. You will hate your life if you try to assemble this with the wrenches they provide. ... show more

The engineering and quality of the product is excellent. My complaint lies in the assembly instructions which lack in at least two important areas. A tube of adhesive was supplied with no instructions on where to use it. It was meant for small plastic tabs. Beautiful gazebo! Worth the money and time that went into it It took me 14 hours to assemble. I needed assistance for one hour when placing the roof into place. One piece was defective. Domi customer service was great - they sent me a replacement piece. Only negative - it took over a week to receive the replacement piece since it was shipped from China. We got the 14’x20’ hard top gazebo from Domi. Arrived well packaged and on time in 9 boxes. Nothing was missing! In fact, they give you extra hardware (screws & nuts). Two or three people can assemble this gazebo, but we had five and I think that’s a perfect number. It took us a total of 9 hours from start to finish (we made a weekend of it - 6 hours first day and 3 hours on the second… make sure to have great music, good food, and ENJOY the process with family and friends. Don’t use the hex wrenches provided - it will take forever. Use a couple of drill drivers - one with a Phillips head, another with a hex head (you will need this the most). Overall, very good quality, and everything fit well ( we did have to drill a couple of holes on two roof brackets to line them up with the panels properly - not a problem ). We organized the hardware in labeled bowls, which worked well for us. We watched a video on YouTube to give us an idea of assembling a hard top gazebo, and that was very helpful. This gazebo is very good quality. It was light as well. The frame was not real difficult to put together.. took us about 5-6 hours. You definitely need two people for the frame. We really struggled with putting the roof up...the shingles. The instructions were not very clear. Had to walk away.. and continue the next two days giving it a shot little by little.. with much patience and determination we finally figured it out. There is no support number to call so that is my one complaint. Otherwise, we are thrilled with the finished product!! Its just beautiful! I highly recommend!!! Worth every penny! ... show more
