This review is for the 12x20’ gable roof gazebo. Overall this was a great choice. The materials are of high quality. Assembly takes time, but the instructions are fairly straightforward if you follow them. It took about 2 full days with myself, I am an able bodied man who is fairly handy, and my wife helping setup the main posts and a couple other areas. You don’t need a team of people to set this up. The unit is pretty lightweight, but sturdy. It shipped in 6 boxes, 4 arrived one day, the other 2 arrived the day after. I suggest opening everything and doing an inventory and checking for damage upon delivery. I was not missing any parts or hardware, and nothing was damaged. This is a quality gazebo shade structure that is worth the money, I would recommend it if you’re in the market.

There is no match for sturdiness, quality and value at a comparable price! Wts, the manufacturer elected to focus on the above three characteristics with no attention to customer friendly attributes or packaging. My product arrived on time but with several damaged pieces, so assembly was delayed a week. The absolute BEST customer service (Molly) agent(s) I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with! Completed assembly right up until our first monsoon with winds of 45-53mph, hail and rain; lots of rain...didn’t even know we had a storm. Can’t wait to see how she stands against the snow this Winter. Ok, now the painful realities that come with this product: 1) Instructions are not completely sequenced or accurate, e.g., do not place curtain hooks in until after you have assembled the 4 post and rails. Otherwise you will be frustrated from the hooks falling off the rails during assembly. 2) when assembling the roof, you will find that it’s not just the “W” panels that should be assembled simultaneously to the roof but all panels will need to be done in this manner; it’s the only way we were able to achieve a consistent, seal in an overlapping fashion. 3) After conducting my parts inventory, I thought specific screws were missing, only to find out that consistency in packaging was lacking, .I.e., although all screws and braces were clearly marked on their respective packages, some screws were packed inside other packages, thus you would never know of their existence unless you opened every package to count every screw...

The media could not be loaded. Took much longer than expected to build. Several weekends and about 40 hrs. Two people. Read ahead on instructions and follow very carefully. Don't tighten bolts till all installed for that section. There are about 40 weird plastic "z pieces" which are the most frustrating things to install. The engineer who designed that should be fired. Original outer curtain came in wrong size. Replacements were sent promptly. It is sturdy and looks great, but I would not build another. Hope it lasts. Estimates to build something like this from wood were $50k and an Amish gazebo was $12k. For the money it was worth the time to build. It looks great when it's done. Giving it 4. Stars because it's hard to build and wrong curtain size shipped.

This gazebo is finally up! It’s made well and looks nice. We bought it to add a cover and shade to our deck. It’s perfect for that! Only problem is the directions aren’t really clear as it used pictures but doesn’t show or tell what direction brackets go. After trial and error it was figured out.

I did the installation by myself, about 95% of it, the product looks great and would have been much easier and faster if the instructions were clearer. Do not get me wrong, the product was and looks great. Start by taking everything out of the boxes and make sure that you have all the pieces and it makes it much easier as the build gets moving. Mistake that I made was to not look at the video first, wasted three hours attempting to put the first level roof panels and netting, the video explains how to do it, it also straightens out some of the documentation deficiencies, Once I viewed the video a few times it made it much easier. Each metal roof panel requires this clip to seal them to the frame, I used --"LEXEL Elastic Sealant" and let them sit over night or four days. (Rain and Work got in the way). When adding the screws to the frame from the metal panel make sure that you add the spacers when you add the first panel and make sure that the screw matches and use the correct screws. I used an electric drill with a hex bit, placed it on #2 when screwing in the roof. Overall, it looks great, and it was worth the four days that it took to put together. I have added a few pictures. I must thank my wife and sister for the assistance in getting this Domi built. Good Luck! Regards, Raf

I was worried about the reviews and how difficult it would be to assemble. However, this was relatively easy and it took about 6 hours one person to assemble. This is a VERY nice item. Sturdy and water resistant. I love it. Highly recommend.

I purchased this for my husbands birthday. He likes sitting on our deck but it is full son so gets very hot. I don't know how easy to put up because I asked someone else to do it. He said it was very well made and should last a long time. Two days after it was finished and bolted to our deck we had three tornados in the area. We lost four trees and roof needs replacing on our house but this Gazebo held fast. All furniture and grill were moved to one side of the deck but the Gazebo was still standing and is great condition. I was so happy. After having it for a couple of months I had to close the curtains on one side and discovered that there was a flaw in the zipper on the curtains. I sent an email to Domi customer service asking for a new curtain. I heard from them the next day, after a couple of emails detailing what was wrong and sending pictures, I received two new curtains within two weeks. I would refer this company and the Gazebo to anyone.
