    • Use a 90 degree screwdriver with nut taped to it

This is a tricky repair to make on the awning. We found that if you use a 90 degree bent screwdriver and tape the nut on to it, it simplifies threading the nut up the arm to the proper place. Use a flashlight to line up the hole for the screw. Good luck, you will get it.

I got these to replace a missing knob assembly for our camper awning. Seems like they would be good, if they fit my awning, but they were the wrong size for me and the dimensions were not very clear, so I thought I would leave a review for anyone wanting to know the dimensions. The knob is approx. 2-3/8" in diameter x 5/8" thick. The threaded shaft on the knob is 1/4"-20 x approx. 3/4". The nut is 3/4" x 3/4" x 1/4" thick. ... show more
