Within 24 hours this product was completely expanded and ready to use. What helped was to break apart the foam open arrival, as the directions suggest. My wife and I have only been laying on it for a day or so, and are finding we do not want to get up once we lay down. Countless hours have already been spend with wife and I laying on the 7 ft bag with dogs and still plenty of space. We jokingly say we can't get up. It truly is so comfortable, and it's not even broken in yet. No issue with provided memory foaming filling the provided bag. Again, this was the largest bag they offered, and uncompressed it was about 4 feet off the ground, and compressed only where we laid about a foot or so. We absolutely love this chair. We ordered the 7 foot media lounger, and I'm so glad we did. It's a little bit of work when you first unpack it, but once you get the first piece of foam broken off it isn't to bad. It took about two hours after we started it for it to double in size and we were using that evening. Before it was fully fluffed we were all 5 on it comfortably. The kids loved it from the get go, something different and fun. I'm looking forward to getting a good blanket and book and enjoying some comfy reading. We would highly recommend this chair for the gamer, the avid reader who likes a good place to sit, the mom who wants to be able to sit with all her kids and be comfy, and the couple who want to cuddle up and watch a movie without having to fight for space on the couch. ... show more

Well the reviews aren’t kidding, it is quite a task getting this together. If it’s worth it I’m not sure yet, I’ll add to my review after I’ve used it for a while. When you take the compressed filled beanbag out of the box and zippered blue case (which is difficult), pull the plastic bag out from around the block. Then pull the fabric of the beanbag out. At this point you can open the beanbag and look in to see the block of foam. I left it for 6 hours before I started removing chunks of the block. Doing so, the block got bigger and a bit easier to break apart than it was right out of the box. You will get foam everywhere. And there are crinkling plastic pieces mixed in with the foam occasionally that you want to take out. I had a small pile of them. Do it on carpet if you can so you can vacuum the foam up, sweeping won’t work because it sticks to everything. Don’t be afraid to throw the beanbag around but be careful jumping on it when you’re breaking up the fill, I almost rolled my ankle doing so because there were big chunks left. You really need to break them up with your hands. The entire thing including vacuuming up the mess took me an hour (minus the 6 hrs to let it inflate slightly before pulling it apart). It’s gotten bigger since I’ve finished. This pic is taken 6 hours after I was done. I am occasionally fluffing it by picking it up and shaking/dropping it on the ground on both sides. This thing is huge. It’s comfortable but not super comfortable. It’s no love sac. It’s pretty firm. But I will update after more use, just wanted to get some helpful tips out there! ... show more

My boyfriend purchased me the 6 foot black new bag for Christmas because I hate our couch and he wants me to hang out in the living room while he games. When first unboxing the bean bag the packaging was stupid because the plastic was stuck in the zipper and took a while to get unstuck but once it was out , not too bad. It came in a cube shaped that took my boyfriend probably 30 minutes to rip the foam apart then we just kept jumping and running in place on it to keep breaking it up. By the next morning it was fully expanded! It’s very comfy! But I do have to agree on the smell, at first I thought my cat snuck onto it and did something nasty but then quickly realized it was the foam smelling like that. (The guy who commented if you have a dog and you know the anal gland secretion smell, smells just like that!!!GROSS) but I only notice it when I plop into it and then I think I go nose blind to it after 10-15 minutes. I tried the cover and I like it alot but I think it held in the smell more so I took the cover off again to wash it and try and let the foam air out more. I googled it and says can take up to 4 weeks for memory foam to lose its gross smell. It’s been 3 days and it think the strength of the smell is still the same but I will leave the cover off and update the review if the smell ever goes away ! Other than the smell and the stupid pacakaging, I definitely reccomend it! (So does my cat lol , her new favorite place to lay ) ... show more

So much bigger than I expected, but I don’t regret it! It’s so comfortable, and my family of 4 all fits on it comfortably. I’ve slept on it while my husband snores. My kids nap on it. My cat sleeps on it. My kids jump on it from the couch, and it prevents all the injuries. When it flattens a bit I just roll it over and punch it a few times and it’s back to new. The cover is soft and great quality. Removable if it needs to be washed. It has pockets on the side, although I’ll never use them. Would be nice to have little handles. It takes about a week to reach full size. Overall I’m very satisfied with the purchase. ... show more
