Her heinous is quite pleased with her new chair. Within moments if it's assembly, and a quick trial by the help, she quickly ascended to the soft velvety embrace of the chair. Perfect balance of cushion and firmness for those of us with bad backs. I blew out a disk and needed something firm enough that it didn't hurt when I stood up, but cushioned enough that it didn't hurt while sitting. This hit it spot on! Can sit and watch a whole movie! Was a bit tricky to put together, but you just have to not be afraid to shove it into place. I shoved it against the wall to line up the screws. It is designed that you add a bit of tension to it. Is it easy to assemble? Fairly so. Getting the seat and back aligned to screw them together was a little challenging. Not too horrible, though. I thought from the photos that the legs were plastic. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they're wood. Does this look like a $170 chair? Yes, yes it does. But that's okay because I paid $170 for it. Still cute though. Igot the darker brown. It's a little brighter than anticipated, and it's also a bit shinier than I thought it would be. That's always a risk when you buy online, though. If I needed it to be perfect I wouldn't have shopped online. This was meant to be a chair to fill the window nook in my home office, not a stately living room piece, so I don't mind. Is it comfortable? Depends. If you hate a firm chair, you'll hate this chair. It's very firm. Like a bench with a seat pad on it. If you love a firm chair, or even if you could take or leave a firm chair, I think you'll like it. I personally like firm chairs, and this one was well designed to fit the human form, so even though it's firm, it's supportive in all the right places and it feels good to sit in. I got this for my gym/granddaughters play room. My granddaughter asked for a pink chair. I need something I can use for putting my shoes on and off. So I got this chair to satisfy both needs. It is super soft, comfy and cute. It does sit a bit lower than many chairs, but it is comfortable.

Love the chair once we finally got it put together. Color is great and it’s actually comfortable. However, getting the chair together was another story. The holes in the legs did not line up with the holes in the base of the chair. Luckily we had the tools available to drill our own holes to fit the base properly, which was still a pain. This shouldn’t have to be the case on a brand new chair. I was going to buy a second chair for another room, but now will definitely not buy another one if we are going to have to drill proper holes. ... show more
