This handle was exactly what i was looking for. I used it for my cast iron pot lids i made. They do not get hot to the touch at all. I used stainless steel bolts and the lid is 3/16" aluminum and the mount is sturdy. I used them to make lids for all my other larger cast iron pots.

Easy to install overall but only thing I didn't like was that it didn't fit the shape of a standard Phillips head screwdriver well enough so my driver kept slipping out. Jad to use a socket wrench to finish the installation. They work well and are very strong.
