On our garage we have double doors 10.5 high. They are made with metal fire doors but covered in woodgrain Masonite siding to appear to be wooden and to match the garage doors to either side. We have never found handles that looked right on the doors until we tried these. They are perfect, at least IMHO. The plan is to pass stainless screws all the was through the doors and bolt a handle on both outside and the inside. It will take 4 handles to do both doors. At the rear of the building, there is a 7 foot high, 8 foot wide double high security metal fire door. Only one side is used, with the other side latched to the frame and only opened to pass large machinery or car components on a rotisserie. We will put these handles on the door we usually use with a key difference. The handles will be attached to the sheet metal of the door with self-tapping screws. The inside will be firmly attached, but the outside handle will be attached with the smallest, shortest screws that will allow us open the door when it is unlocked. One of the security features is that doors open outwards. It makes it next to impossible to push the doors in during a break-in, especially with reinforced frame anchored in concrete. If the handle on the outside was firmly attached, it would give someone a place to attach a rope or cable to pull the door open. Using little screws means that a good tug will pull the handle off rather than pull the door open. It will take 2 handles to do one door. Handles like these, purchased as singles would very costly. The selling price of all 6 handles here come to about 1/3 of what it would cost to special order very similar handles from the local building supply. I gave these 5 stars. They are what I had envisioned to fit in with our old barn theme of our garage. PS Staring at the bars laid out like a ladder, I had an epiphany. I have a wheel from a freight car that was used for the manual brakes. These bars look just like the ladder on the end of a freight car. We had considered adding a ladder made of bars like this on my grandson’s ever growing playhouse. Tack up a sheet of corrugated roofing, add these bars as a climbable ladder, put the wheel from the freight car on a bolt so it can be spun, add a few pieces of conduit, and suddenly he would have a railroad car to play with. Much safer than what I did as a kid, ending up two states away.

Very well made and heavy duty!!! AND HEAVY LOL like u know these are gonna last a long time that’s how ‘heavy duty’ they look and feel! Finish is nice and durable. Also love that they included all the screws everything needed to install these handles all u need is a screwdriver N a level!

These bars are well made and look great, but with only one mounting hole on each side, they are not fit for in-house grab bars. Fortunately they are not advertised that way, but worth noting. With a good size bolt, they will work great as a door handle, which is how I am using them, or on a play set for kids. It’s nice that the base plates are solid, no holes, to avoid water getting in the tubing to rust. Overall, if used as advertised, these are a great buy!

These safety handles are working perfectly for me! I love that I was able to order a full matching set. We used them for our treehouse, I wanted something a little sturdier than the wood we used previously. These are strong and sturdy, go up easy, and look fantastic. It didn't take long to put them up, just 4 screws per bar and you're done. They've held up to rain and adult weight impressively. No sign of rust whatsoever, and stable as can be. I'm also impressed with how well they're made. I ordered some bathroom grab bars a couple years ago for nearly twice the price, and they weren't even close to this level of quality. I think I may order another set of these to outfit our bathrooms, and save a ton of cash. The sizes and color advertised are both accurate, and I think they're an awesome value. Highly recommend!

These handles were super helpful in various applications around my property. I installed a few on some gates and one on my smaller garage door. They have a decent powder coating on them and the metal of the handles doesn’t bend or flex at all, leading me to believe they’re made from quality materials. They look really nice and are very simple to install.
