This is a great budget option for a simple but reliable and premium feeling tripod stand. The stand itself is metal and feels very nice to hold. The MagSafe attachment part is very strong, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it still had a strong hold on my iPhone even with my MagSafe Popsocket still attached, making it very convenient to attach and detach. The tripod legs allow for a good range of angles, supporting the phone well in both portrait and landscape positions, and can be folded up into a convenient size for storage, especially with the carabiner. I haven't tried using it as a camera stick, but I believe it would serve that purpose well as a simple solution for extra stability when filming. My only major complaint is that, when fully extended, the legs don't provide much side-by-side stability, making it pretty easy to knock over given a sideways force or when placed on an angled surface, but for most stationary, flat surfaces, this isn't much of a problem.

When collapsed it’s nice and portable. I carry a small sling bag and since the mag ring is also a carabiner, I can clip it to my bag. When extended it’s nice and stable, the joint are movable, but firm, with good resistance to keep everything tight. The magnet hold is pretty good. I have a MagSafe otter box case for my iPhone 16 pro max, and it takes a considerable amount of force to have it fly off the magnet. I personally use the tripod setup, so the screen is raised a bit, and the articulating arm works very nicely, so I can change the angle of the screen fairly easily. I can’t remember what I bought it for, but it was sub 10 dollars. Very worth it, and if someone doesn’t have a MagSafe stand, I would highly recommend this as a little gift. Worth the money.

I’ll be honest — I first spotted this tripod on Instagram and hesitated for months. Was it just another shiny toy that would collect dust after two uses? Absolutely not. Nice product. Super cool and smart design. The carabiner clip makes it even more useful. I only took away one start because I don't see a way to tighten the legs if they become loose. You CAN tighten the carabiner gate, which makes it seem like they could've come up with a way to do it for the legs. Maybe an enhancement for the MA31.

This is a very compact phone stand (not quite small enough to leave on the phone all the time, but very easy to carry almost anywhere, and snaps on quickly and securely.) Nice design, surprisingly good feel and build quality. You can be all set with the phone mounted for a video call, or use it as a little selfie stick handle, a small table-top tripod. Only one side of it will attach to the phone (that's the way magnets work...) but once attached it holds the phone well, and an accessory light (even one I got from another brand) snaps right onto the back of it to add to the rig if you need it. Love the way it can clip to a belt loop or bag strap, it's a really great design that can do everything but open a beer.

I have found a lot more uses for this thing than I originally anticipated. I wanted it to use as more of a selfie stick that was super compact. Now i use it for my desk at work and even as a stand on the go if im out somewhere working on my phone. Build quality is solid and magnets seem very strong. I would buy again.

I bought this to film content for my social media pages. I’m an artist, but I’m also a photographer and videographer who owns multiple tripods, but I needed something compact and with a smaller footprint for tabletop shots. I Decided to go with this over another popular magnetic phone stand made of pleather, and I’m glad I did. This thing is solid and feels great to use. Being made of metal I’m also more confident it’ll last a long time. Magnets are super strong, and if you use a pop socket it fits right over it, which is a great bonus. Obviously the size means you can’t just leave it on your phone at all times, but it’s slim and lightweight enough that you can easily slip it in your pocket or any bag you may have on you (or just clip it to your bag).
