I purchased this camera system because I tow a utility trailer w/golf cart behind my fifth wheel RV. Not knowing what was going on behind RV made me feel uneasy. The camera was delivered within a couple of days, it was well packaged and complete with adapters, wiring and brackets that fit perfectly to the pre wired furrion hub. I had to modify the hub to receive the antenna which was not a big deal. It was a very simple installation, all screw holes lined up and the adapter wire was a perfect match that made plug and play a breeze. The running lights do need to be on to power the camera. Powered up the 7” monitor and instantly had a clear picture, simple as 1,2,3. The monitor is very clear and can handle multiple cameras. You can split screen up to 4 cameras. There is a slight delay which is expected being wireless. I am very pleased with this purchase, not to mention the price was reasonable.     • WOW! Works great!
I bought this camera system to replace a FURRION system that I've had nothing but problems with. So far, it seems to be working great, was easy to install and took absolutely zero effort to start up. I installed it in the original FURRION rear camera bracket on the rear of my fifth wheel camper with the supplied bracket and power cable adapter. It was basically plug and play, the adapter bracket fit nicely, overall, not a single problem installing the camera. The only issue with using the FURRION bracket as the mounting for this camera is, the antenna will not allow you to point the camera up very high as it hits the FURRION bracket. I plan to notch the bracket in order to point the camera higher so I can see further behind the camper; I want to be able to see traffic behind me and where it's aimed now, as high as it can go, I don't think I'll be able to see as far back as I'd like to. Now here's what I REALLY liked about the system....after installing the camera and powering it up, I went to my truck which was a good 100 feet away and when I hooked up the monitor, it immediately was picking up the camera signal! I have a separate back driveway where my camper is parked so I had to drive around to it and was a good 100 yards away at one point and the monitor was still picking up the signal and showing the video. Now, bear in mind, I know for a fact the FURRION monitor I had received when I purchased the camper had problems with the antenna or the antenna electronics, which was the reason I got rid of it because I could not keep a signal unless I was within about 20 feet of the camera, so I had good reason to be very impressed with the range of this system. Since I have not pulled the camper yet, I'm not sure about if the refresh rate will make the video choppy or not but so far, it doesn't seem like it will be an issue. The camera resolution is great, very clear and bright. The FURRION camera video with a max refresh rate of 60hz was always choppy, not terrible but definitely not smooth, even with a good signal. If you're looking for a quality camera system for your vehicle at a VERY affordable price, I don't think you'll go wrong with this one. For the price, quality, ease of installation, etc., this one is a very good choice. I'll update this review once I've had a chance to further test it on the road. UPDATE 2-7-23: I took the fifth wheel on a trip and the camera system worked fine. The video was a little choppy at times but I think this is due to the nature of the wireless system not being quite as stable as a wired system. But, that said, the video was great and this wasn't a major deal. I would like to add, in the instruction manual that came with my unit, the seller offers a free accessory which can be another camera, etc. I emailed them and wanted an additional rear camera to use for the side and they sent one out to me FREE OF CHARGE in just a few days! WOW...that was simply fantastic! I'm not sure if or how long they will continue to offer this but it was a very nice gesture worth probably $50 or more so consider this when deciding on a system and whom to buy from. ... show more

This was a breeze to install!!! I put this unit on my 45ft 5th wheel and Dodge Ram Dually!!! It has a really clear picture while moving slow!!! Traveling down the interstate, it's a little choppy, but can still easily see other vehicles!!! It's really nice when driving at night, as you can see it's safe to change lanes when passing!!! The company did send me the booster antenna, but I have yet to try it. I'll update this review after I try it!!! I would think this will help with the choppyness at higher speeds!!! I'm debating getting another camera to mount on the side for blind spots..... ... show more

I bought the system and mounted it on the back of my 30 ft travel trailer. The connection and pictures are excellent. I wanted to add a second camera to point straight out instead of down. Unfortunately they upgraded the system and the new cameras were not compatible. When I wrote the seller they not only did they find me the correct camera but sold it to me at a considerable discount for my troubles. ... show more

Great picture and easy install as I didn’t want to make holes so I used one of the indicator rv lights to power and it fit perfectly! Didn’t like the bulkiness of the screen but was able to take off cover for slimmer fit!

We have this mounted on the top back of a 22' trailer. Image good, but sometimes has freeze frame. The screen is too large for dash mount, but we were able to improvise mounting it to the center rear view mirror.

Camera easily installs to a pre-wired Furrion camera hub with the supplied hardware. The antenna has to be installed downward when installed in the Furrion hub because the antenna slot on the hub is on the right, and the camera antenna is on the left. Also, power to the pre-wired Furrion hub is supplied by the running lights, therefore, the tow vehicle headlights must be on to supply power to the running lights and the camera. The camera can be adjusted to view straight back for viewing traffic, or adjusted downwards for close proximity viewing, and anywhere in between for your preference. ... show more

There is a little lag in the video signal, but outside of that works great. Has a Help number for technical support, but you half to email for customer service. Outside of that great product for the price plus you can choose a gift. I chose a second camera.
