I don’t agree with shocking dogs for a first line correction. 99.5% of the time that I use shock collars, the beep or vibration works perfectly. Personally, I ONLY use the shock if the dog refuses to acknowledge the beep or vibration first and it’s something important such as chasing chickens or cats to play. This collar works very well. The range is plenty for my needs. The beep and vibrate also are definitely enough to grab their attention in normal circumstances such as “Come back here! You’re not listening” or “Stop looking so intensely at that llama! He’s not dinner!”. Battery power has a long life and doesn’t discharge with sitting. This particular collar is on the fancy side with the "pull" monitor to use a predetermined set of alerts progressive in intensity so that the dog has time to correct the undesirable behavior. If you have the means, I highly suggest pick this one up! 5 stars from me!

I really like this set. It's easy to use and maintain. The kit comes with a dual charging cable - you can charge both devices (the collar and handle) simultaneously. Also, they charge fast and the charge lasts for quite some time - depending on how often you use it. I use mine at least 1x a day and a single charge lasts over two weeks! Just be mindful to shut the handle and collar off when not in use to prevent the batteries from losing their charge quickly. The handle is constructed well and seems as though it will last for a while. It's extremely easy to use - you can manually deliver what type of feedback you want your dog to receive or set the handle to automatically detect when they're tugging at the leash and deliver the feedback automatically. The collar/handle combo is not sensitive and delivers feedback when necessary. I find it to work efficiently and effectively with my dog! It delivers the feedback in a series of steps. First it beeps, then it beeps and vibrates and lastly it beeps, vibrates and then shocks (you can set it not to do that if you don't want to use that type of feedback on your pet). The leash seems strong and durable. I like the clips at either end so that it can attach to their collar (don't clip it on the e-collar though) and to the handle that controls the collar. I do think that my dog would chew it up in -0.5 seconds given the opportunity but I don't leave it out to where it could do that and during walks he's more interested in sniffing trees and fire hydrants than to be bothered with the leash. If we were somewhere stationary and I had this leash on him - that would be another story - but for as long as you're moving I think this leash would be fine! The handle display shows you the level for each type of feedback, how much of a charge it has remaining, switch from auto to manual (or vice versa) and allows you to manually select which type of feedback you want to use at a specific moment. If you have it set to Auto mode but want to use a manual feedback option, you can do so with it switching back to Auto mode automatically! Two things that I would change is for the leash to be a little longer. I know the point is to leash train your dog and most of the time you use shorter leashes for that but I wouldn't mind a longer leash to give my dog some more room to explore his surrounds without me being right on his heels. Also, if there was a way to display how much remaining battery life the collar had that would be nice! You can see the battery level for the handle but not the collar - it does beep red when it needs to be charged though. Overall, this is a great training kit for any size dog! The collar is completely adjustable and customizable in the way that you use the different forms of feedback. I really like it and this kit has truly transformed the way I walk my dog! He listens more and honestly it's a more enjoyable experience for us both! It's well worth the money as this will last for a while and produces results!

This anti-tugging collar and remote set, works like a charm. My dog always tugs and pulls on his leash when we are walking and this has definitely succeeded at stopping this bad behavior. The remote is very lightweight and easy to hold in my hands. It feels comfortable and has a good handle and grip to it. The buttons are easy to figure out with the included instructions. I like that the collar size is adjustable and can accommodate different sized necks.
