Holy COW!!! I've avoided products like this altogether in the past. I been a Border Collie rescuer for 30+ years now, and currently have 3 BCs, ages; 3, 8, and 14. My dogs are in perfect health, gorgeous dogs, but as with all dogs it seems, even regular brushing doesn't seem to make much progress over the long haul. I finally had enough when my 8 year old male came up for some loves and his breath was just intolerable!!! His teeth were very yellow, and his gumline looked awful. My 4 year old girls teeth which were glowing puppy white for years had yellowed and lost their lustre. Of course my 14 year old girls teeth were brown, a few broken and also a horrible gumline, breath of a dragon. So I decided to give these powders a try to see if we could sweeten my 8 y/o breath and help clean all their teeth. I did not expect much, but what happened over the past few weeks is REMARKABLE!!! A MIRACLE!!! ALL 3 dogs have gorgeous white teeth, EVEN THE 14 year old!!! Their breath is sweetened up and I swear to you seems like puppy breath again!! The 8 year old has a VERY sensitive tummy and has needed special diet food for many years. He tolerates this stuff like it doesn't exist. They all love their breakfast (when we do our daily scoop for each), and I'm telling you, TWO WEEKS and they are different dogs!! Even the gumline is SO much healthier, this is MIRACLE POWDER! Just look at their pictures!! 2 weeks is all it took, and my 14 year old hasn't had a white tooth in her head in 8+ years, they were BROWN. This stuff works! Its also much cheaper than another brand that is advertised by PetLab. I sprinkle a scoop of it on top of my dog's food in the morning and in a week his teeth look so much better! The dark tarter spots are gone! His breath is better too. I was very skeptical but I just ordered more and sharing with my daughter for her dog. Very impressed.

Did not belive this would work, less confident my picky eater would try it. Happy to say wrong on both counts.10 year old shelter dog that had bad teeth when I got her, and it's gotten worse. Vet wants $1300 as a starter price to put her under while they clean, subject to increase. In several weeks this has cleaned the majority of the problems, and her breaths improved too. Maggie is a dry food eater, and will leave the food sit if wet. Until now. This product is SO FINE it's like silt or snuff. If you breath on it you will blow it out of the bowl. The way dogs sniff everything, I decided to dampen in, and Maggie loves it. On my 4th container now, I no longer have to add toppers to get her to eat, she'll eat it dry or wet, and it looks like it's helped with her teeth. Pretty awesome. I have recommended to friends whose dogs had teeth issues, have not heard if it helped yet. 9/26/25 edit: This product has consistently been the same, ultra fine green kelp powder. This latest container appears to be somethingdifferent (straight brewers yeast?). No kelp smell, and product looks like a container of fine dirt (see picture). Trying right now to find a way to replace as this is not what I have bought 5-6 times now.

This is definitely the best dental powder I have purchased. Usually the containers are very small and only last a month. This has lasted me 2 months. I do 3/4th full spoon for each serving of food for my almost 25lb American eskimo. It's also the most fragrant in a good way. Most of them look and smell like you are pouring dried grass into your dog's food and I'm just like well sorry bud. But this stuff smells GOOD. I think there is yeast in there so there is a slight cheesy beery aroma. My dog's breath smells normal! There have been times when it stinks before using this but now it is good. I occasionally brush, use a dog mouth spray, and do a water additive as well. My mother in law's dog has plaque build up over his entire mouth, I feel so bad for the dog. I have told her for years about his teeth, and she never did anything about it until it's too late. Now he is 16 years old having to get dental surgery. Don't be like my mother in law. Take care of your dog's teeth use this powder. BRUSH THEIR TEETH TOO. They don't have magical spit that prevents dental issues. This is a great start to take care of them.

Have used a full tub of this product now on our 8yr old Corgi. It has significantly reduced the amount of plaque on her teeth but has not removed all. It took few weeks before we started to notice a reduction in plaque. More stubborn stuff will need manual cleaning but it's much better ( and so is her breath ). The product says Mint and looks green in the pictures, but it's actually brown and smells more like chocolate Ovaltine to me. She gets a scoop on every mornings breakfast. Just started a 2nd container. Will see if anything improves more.
