My little Gracie, 9lb Cavachon, was just spayed. Dr wanted me to purchase a cone to prevent her from licking the suture site. I declined and had a bright idea to modify a baby onsie by cutting out an opening for her to do her business. In my mind it was a great idea. In reality it was a fail. When my very little Yorkie had abdominal surgery, she came home with a cone. She hated it!! Every time she ran into something with it, she cringed and acted like someone had just hit her. And she could eat with it on. This was a lifesaver!! It fit perfectly and was light weigh and really cute. This recovery suit is perfect for dogs who don’t fancy the cone of shame. The onesie is easy to get on and off without irritating the dog’s surgical site. The styles are really cute. Our 15 lb ragdoll is very long but not all that big around. She needed emergency surgery, and I wasn't sure which size would fit her best. I'm very thankful for the quick shipping and free returns that let me get several sizes on hand during her stay at the emergency vet. Turns out size Large was the winner! This onesie does have a lot of stretch to it, too. Our cat seems very comfortable in it. I would recommend getting one with the button closures. I found the zipper too hard to close on a squirmy pet, and I didn't want to catch her hair in it. ... show more
