I purchased this for my American Chocolate Lab who just had TPLO surgery. The cone was awful. She couldn't see well, kept getting caught on things, and couldn't lay down to rest comfortably. I ordered a 2XL as my dog weighs about 63 lbs. and picked the Christmas design so she could wear them again as pj's for the holidays. When I opened the package, they looked small, and I was certain I'd need to return them. To my surprise, they slipped on easily and fit perfectly! She is able to move around and can go to the bathroom with the suit on without any issues. Now she's able to rest comfortably while looking adorable! I couldn't be happier!

I bought this Onesie for my 80# dog to wear, while healing from hip replacement surgery. They fit well, and do a good job of keeping him from licking his hip .. but the back legs frequently slip out & I need to put them back in.

I've used my after surgery suits multiple times, and lent them out to others as alternatives to the cone of shame. They are comfortable, soft, easy to remove and get back on for potty breaks. Highly recommend. Sizing is a bit difficult so I ordered 2 sizes to ensure I had 1 that fit my dog well.

This is Moose. He has 2 problem areas on his hind legs from flea & tick allergies. When they start to heal & his hair comes back he will bite at it until it bleeds. He is on allergy meds & anxiety meds & nothing will work. I decided to give these a go to see if he would let the spots heal. We are only on day one so far, but he does not mind his new jammie’s at all! His sister is a little jealous & I think we will need to get her a pair as well. I went off of his weight per the sizing chart & they fit well!

The print is cute, fun, and festive. It’s exactly as pictured and good quality. However, I did order the 3XL because my pitty is 80lbs and that’s what the size chart recommends. Upon arrival a 2XL was packed in the box, a little frustrating especially since her surgery was the next morning. I didn’t have time to exchange it. It’s not TOO small but it’s definitely snug and she needed the 3XL.

It's very cute on my dog. But she can still reach the incision site for a spayde. Don't see it working well got a male neuter either. Maybe leg or back surgery. I'll keep it just to keep her warm this winter.

Edit: Purchased size 3X. Should have sized down one. My dog needed staples on her hind leg. It’s a much better alternative than the giant cone they gave her because she could reach it with a normal cone and she couldn’t even function with it on. The pros are it’s very soft, lightweight, breathable and covers everything needed while also not having to mess with anything before letting her out to go to the bathroom since that is all open. She also is so much more comfortable and able to do everything normally. She also does not try to lick the wounds since it is covered up; though she may attempt to sniff the area here and there we remind her no and she leaves it alone The one bad: I understand that maybe this product was tried on and returned by someone else, but there was quite a bit of hair inside and out of the sweater when I received it.. I felt that should have been looked at and addressed if it was returned.. so I will be returning this particular one as well. Make sure to do measurements, as I wasn’t able to do measurements at the time and just went by weight; and it is a little large. I bought a couple of these and It does the the trick but with it being a little loose when she walks or moves around sleeping it starts to come off her hind legs and stretch out and she gets out of it once or twice a day which wouldn’t be an issue if she didn’t have staples . I originally purchased a 3X for my 70-75 black lab, though she is a on the smaller size for a lab in height; she has a beefy chest and neck. I should have gotten a 2X Overall, this is a great alternative for surgery, just make sure to use measurements if you want it to be tight enough.
