This has been perfect for Big Karen's post surgery care. She has 30 stitches on her abdomen. We tried a t shirt but she could move it to lick. We put the cone on her and she would go and hit it on the doors or walls. She was already in pain from surgery. She didn't need the stress of the cone. I bought a different one first. It was the onesie type with the velcro that comes around the belly and attaches on the back. It worked and she looked adorable but you had to unhook it for her to go to the bathroom. That's what made me order this one. The back legs had to be rolled up once but the rest fits pretty good. I followed the size chart. It still pulls down at the neck like every other article of clothing I have ever got for any dog but that was expected. Overall this was a great purchase. She isn't licking and she is so much happier. The fact that she is adorable is just a bonus.

4 stars because it arrived late. But other than that it fits PERFECT! I was so worried because most things that are super large don’t fit my 135lb Great Dane. But this fit amazing and it’s super soft! I cut only a little part on the bottom since he’s a male but just had a stomach surgery. It prevents him from licking the incision but he can still potty. Only issue is he sometimes pees on it but that’s likely because I couldn’t cut the whole area you’re supposed to since that would leave part of his incision exposed. Once he’s healed fully I’ll be using this for winter and will be cutting the bottom how it’s supposed to. I’m hoping that’ll prevent him from peeing on it a bit like he has once or twice. But he loves it! Tricky to put on but honestly not terribly difficult. It stretches really well. Such a great buy for a large dog after surgery or just for winter!

Are big 110 lb golden retriever had both of his ACLs worked on and could not leave his stitches alone. The cone of shame is just torture especially for as long as he needed to wear it as one of his knees failed and had to be redone and developed an infection. Long story short, he couldn't wear a cone for 2 months solid so the pajamas were a lifesaver and he looked adorable! It could have been a little warm with all of his golden retriever fur and full out pajamas but we just made sure where he slept was cool.

I love the look! The fabric is a little thinner than I expected, but it feels good, has good stretch, and my dog doesn’t mind it! I love the stretchy cuffs on the neck and legs! My dog is a yellow lab and I got a 5XL which is just a tad small. When I say small, it’s mostly that it’s not quite long enough in the body to fully cover his neck to his tail. His neck and extra neck skin stick out a bit. I worried it might be tight and uncomfortable around his neck, but he fell asleep in them so clearly it’s not. I also thought he would chew on it and (knock on wood) so far that hasn’t happened. Hopefully it stays that way! I would buy this again!

This recovery suit has an adorable pattern, is well constructed, and the colors are vibrant. It would do well for its intended purpose of keeping your pup or kitty away from a problem spot. I got this in a 7xl for my 115 pound Newfie girl who is having trouble with Hotspot right now. It covered the spot and the fabric is thick enough to prevents her from scratching too bad. However, I am returning this item simply because it is a pullover type suit and it is a real struggle to get my dog into it. If it had a zipper down the back it would be much more practical. But this suit will work in place of a cone if you can get it in your critter.

I got the 4XL for my dog who is 52 pounds and it fit perfectly! She kept getting out of her cone after surgery and I need to make sure she can’t lick/bite at her incision (she already took her own stitches out 😑) it’s working well so far. I would say if you have a stockier dog like a bulldog, the proportions probably won’t work. But if your dog has an average build it should! Its snug in a good way, she can’t move it around or wriggle out of it
