This first aid kit is something you buy not wanting to use it, but for the peace of mind and for the “what if” moments. We used to live 5-10 minutes away from our vet and they were also a 24-hr emergency care location. Now, we live 25 minutes away from our 9-5 vet and nearly an hour from any emergency care location. Having an adequate first aid kit means that we’re better prepared to deescalate certain situations much better both at home and when traveling. There’s 3 key components to this kit that I’d like to call out: - The case - The medical guide - The medical products The case itself is rubberized on the outside and has a protected zipper, so not only will it not slide around in the back of a car too much but I would describe it as “water resistant” - meaning it can be splashed and the contents will generally stay dry. The medical guide is pocket-sized but has a good selection of emergency and medical need situations described. No matter how long you’ve had dogs and events you’ve experienced, it can be nice to have that reinforcing knowledge base when the need arises. The gauze, vet wrap, tick removal tools, tweezers, warming blanket, vinyl gloves, instant ice pack, and styptic powder are all solid inclusions in the first aid kit. Depending on what is in your human first aid kit, you might be able to swap some of these items out to make more room for increased quantities of items or additional items, but its a great starting point. Just like having a well-stocked human first aid kit is important when traveling, I’ll probably supplement this first aid kit before we head out on camping trips by adding more vet wrap, cotton rounds for wiping out ears, Benadryl (for dosing at 1mg/lb of dog) and small sterile bottles of saline for rinsing eyes. This product’s secure and water-resistant case and included medical guide makes this a no-brainer starting point.

What's not to love about this kit? It has it ALL, and the case it comes in is very sturdy, seems to be of very good quality and has a waterproof zipper. I have another doggy first aid kit under the seat in the car, but it only came in a fabric bag that would get soaked just by a little rain, so I will definitely put this new kit in the car instead. I'll probably order another new one and put in my dogs' 72 hours emergency backpack. This is a LARGE set of first aid items, it has almost everything you need in case of an emergency when you're out and about - and the handle makes it very easy to carry if you need to. There is also space to add a couple of extra items that you feel might be missing or that you want to switch out (I usually add eye rinse/wash to all of my first aid kits for instance, that's usually not included - surprisingly enough, it IS already included in this kit!). It's such a relief to have a first aid kit for the dogs, and this one also comes with a small instruction pamphlet which helps a lot. Most of these things you can use on yourself as well, if ever needed. You won't regret getting this kit, I highly recommend it!

With so many items in this pet first aid kit your cats and dogs will be well taken care of if an injury or illness occurs. It comes with a little first aid handbook and my favorite item is the clotting powder. We trim our dog's nails and on occasion one of them bleeds and while cornstarch works okay I've been wanting some of this clotting powder to test out. This is the perfect kit to take with you hiking or camping. It includes a foil blanket for emergencies, bandages, bandage scissors, a thermometer, safety pins, and many more items like an ice pack, gloves as well as antiseptic wipes and even burn gel and an eye wash dropper. This is a fantastic value it under $30 as if you were to purchase each of these items individually it would probably cost three times that. The case it comes in is a hard shell and is very durable. It zips up nicely for safety and storage. You can't go wrong with this pet first aid kit. It would make a great gift for anyone who has pets.

This is an impressive comprehensive kit, packed with first aid supplies for your pet (including bandaids and several other things you can use yourself). Some items are obviously one-time use and it may be hard to find replacements in similar size or quantity. The booklet is full of useful information that you should become familiar with before an emergency arises, however they could have included a magnifying glass so you can read the tiny print. There is a small zippered pouch included for travel, and you can decide what would be the best things to carry in it depending on your situation.

It's a full package, this ped first aid kit. Everything is contained neatly in this portable storage case. Bandage, gauze, scissors, tweezers, tick pickers, burn gel, sting relief, alcohol pads, ice pack, a spare leash...... things that needed in emergencies. There's a handbook/instruction book to explain how to use those items in certain situations. Everything fits in the case. It's not heavy, easy to put in backpack or in the car next time we go out. It will come in handy should emergency arise. With this pet first aid kit and this handbook, I feel a bit more confident travelling long trips with my pets now.

First thing i noticed was the quality of the bag it all comes in. It looks sturdy and rugged. Solid bag that im sure i would reuse if i ever finish the contents. Next, the content has pretty much everything you need for first aid. Comes with quality items that can last stored or even in the unfortunate event you need it for your pet. Also comes with helpful information for tending your pet with these items. I have 3 dogs so i definitely will keep this next to our human first aid kit. Highly recommended!

This Pet First Aid Kit is awesome!! The case of the kit is extremely high quality and professional. The kit is compact and light weight. There’s plenty of first aid options inside of the kit; however, I wish there were a larger roll of vet wrap. I’m adding my own vet wrap to the kit because I have several large dogs. Everything else in the kit is exactly what I what I was hoping for when ordering this!
