    • Inner Tube Protection
I purchased two, along with two 3.25 x 16 inner tubes. My 57 year-old Honda Dream tires would no longer hold air. If I was going through the trouble of removing the wheels, breaking down the tires and reinstalling them, I wanted to make sure I had new tubes and rim strips. I threw away the old and put in the new. The rim strips fit perfectly. The purpose is to protect the inner tube from rubbing on the inside of the wheel spokes. What I didn't count on was how stiff those old tires were, making insertion of the valve stem by itself a fifteen minute chore. Oh well, maybe those tires won't have to come off again for another 57 years. ... show more

    • The hole in the strip is in the center and not off set…
All in all it did what it was suppose to do, but the hole in the strip for the inner tube was in the center of the strip and my rim has the hole off set to one side for the valve stem, so I just notched it on the side and it worked fine…

It is what it is it's a rubber band the front one came it was pretty thin this back one this one thicker that's why I got four stars and the other one got three
