Truly folks this product works, I had little to no execptations because I didn't see how this could stop a dog in it tracks but it really does! Let me explain though why the "BUT" The "but" is because you CANNOT have any barrier between the device and the dog. In other words if you trying to use this to get your neighbors dog to stop barking you'd need to be able to get the device clearly pointed at the dog to get it to stop. Recently my landlord let the house next to me move in with FOUR PIT BULLS! The fence between there house and mine is over 30 years old and rotting! These dogs have been snarling and growling and literally throwing themselves at my fence after my poor two rescues who are half their size! I put up a privacy screen to cover the fence and it helped a little bit BUT when those pit bulls smell my dogs outside the chaos begins and my nerves are totally shot. I tried pointing this thing at the dog on the other side of the fence and it doesn't work. However when I point it at my dogs within seconds they are pulling their ears back and running away. I feel horrible because I'm not trying to punish my dogs and I don't think it hurts them at all but it definitely scares them. My 13 year old Corgi/Doxie rescue is very hard of hearing and she can even hear this thing! So just know that if you buy this to train your own dogs it will work, or if you're out on a walk and want to deter your dog or another dog from engaging in bad behavior it will work. But it won't work if you're trying to get your nut job neighbors 4 pit bulls to stop attacking the fence.

I was skeptical about this product, as similar ones had mixed reviews. However I got this to help train my dog to stop barking and whining at noises in ur apartment, and she HATES the sound. I use it very limitedly, and the warning sound is an A+ add-on, as the dog will eventually learn to associate the beep with the sonic sound and stop the behavior without needing to use the sonic feature. After a while she gets used to it, so I switch the setting, and it works over and over. That said, they will get used to it, so I wouldn't recommend using it as a primary training tool, rather something to supplement what you are doing. A final 'punishment' if you will. Another AMAZING feature I discovered, is that it works for other dogs too, especially if they've never encountered it. On the second day of owning the device, I took my dog out for a run, and another person was out with their dog off leash. They made 0 attempt to grab their dog, which was annoying, and it came sprinting at my dog who has had a history of abuse and intimidation by other dogs, so she is very territorial. Usually, she would put her hackles up and try to jump at the dog, but I simply stopped, told her to sit, and pointed the device at the incoming dog and fired it. I literally never write reviews, but the second the dog heard the sound, it immediately flipped around in-step and ran back to its terrible owner who got a glare from me, and we continued on our way. If you have a dog that gets stuck in 'lizard brain' and can't be consoled for training, this is an EXCELLENT product to regain their attention. If you frequently encounter stray dogs, irresponsible owners, or are a delivery person of any kind, I would highly recommend considering this product as it WORKS.

We have 3 cats and 2 dogs. One of our dogs has a major barking issue. After researching options I ordered this device. The ultrasonic device is quiet for humans but heard by the animals. It did startle my dog out of barking. However, my other dog went crazy and so did the cats. The cats were in the same room as the barking dog and scattered fast when this device was used. At the same time, the non barking dog was sleeping and this woke him up and he has been pacing since. This arrived 2 days ago and my dog that does not have the barking issue is no longer eating. And he cowers now when the other dog barks. I used this a total of 3 times. Right now, I have it locked up in a safe. I'm worried my child could find it and press the buttons without knowing what is happening because there is no sound. This device also came with a dog whistle. That is working just as well, without harming the other animals. If you have a one pet household this may work for you.

We have two very protective dogs that bark at anything that goes by, or comes near. No matter what I tried, short of an electric shock collar, I could not bring peace ( or quiet). When I saw this product on a flash deal I thought it was a great price and was willing to try to see if this was possibly the answer. Much to our surprise one dog now slightly whimpers when he sees another dog but does not bark at all. Our second dog no longer barks at all when he sees another dog or bicycle. My boys also seem more happy to keep playing or walking, rather than break to bark like they used to when a dog or person passed by. This product fits comfortably in my hand . It comes with a beeper button and a button which sends the silent Sound to the dogs. Very easy and simple. We hardly need to use the Silent Sound button. The dogs have become accustomed to hearing the Beeper button and know it means " no bark", if we need to push it briefly. We are so very happy with this product, and have already offer this as a suggestion to a friend for their dog. We recommend to you as well, as a safe, humane solution.

Excellent! I have a dachshund who LOVES to bark at everything. We took a trip recently and all he did was bark at everything. It was so stressful and people were so annoyed shouting “will you shut that (insert swear word here) dog up!!! I said to my husband that’s it we have to do something about this! I refuse to put a shock Collar on him we don’t believe in those. My mom told me about something like this that she apparently saw on tv. I found this one on Amazon and figured hey why not. I got it in yesterday and used it on our potty break. I have only used it about 3 times and already the unnecessary barking has stopped. We can go on walks and he doesn’t bark at leafs or people walking by. If he so much as sees the device he will stop. I’m actually shocked with how well this works and how quickly it worked. The house is way quieter too he doesn’t bark at random outdoor noises. I will however let him bark at strangers approaching our home as I feel comfortable with that as he is letting me know someone is approaching. I am 1000000% satisfied with this and with this we can finally take him on day trips or trips in general. Also I keep the setting on the lowest setting. The highest setting even I can hear and think it’s too much. Happy with this device! 🤗

This might be one of the best investments I’ve made toward dog training/behavior. The dogs react to it so well and immediately stop growling at each other when I press it. I mainly got it for my neighbors dogs who CONSTANTLY bark all day every day inside and outside (we live in a townhome) and I don’t ever hear those dogs anymore and it’s been super beneficial to my own dogs. We just rescued a stray off the streets and she gets a little possessive over her food and will growl at my other dog and now, the moment they see me pick up the device, she stops, wags her tail and rolls over on her back because she doesn’t want me to press the button. It doesn’t hurt them like a shock collar would and IMMEDIATELY gets their attention. I’m really impressed with this and will be telling more people about it. If I knew about this device sooner, I would have gotten it years ago, but I JUST found out about this invention! I didn’t even know it was a thing! Super happy with my purchase. You won’t be sorry.
