Was great for going on walks , especially when neighbors don't keep their dogs on leads. Range was good and kept myself and the animals safe. Noise level was decent I could hardly hear it , but the dogs were deterred by it.

I did get some looks from my dog when i pointed it at her and pushed the button. She didn't seem to notice it after a while. The tough part is remembering to charge it. It might be better just with batteries. Also need to keep it in a good place and be consistent.

We have two very protective dogs that bark at anything that goes by, or comes near. No matter what I tried, short of an electric shock collar, I could not bring peace ( or quiet). When I saw this product on a flash deal I thought it was a great price and was willing to try to see if this was possibly the answer. Much to our surprise one dog now slightly whimpers when he sees another dog but does not bark at all. Our second dog no longer barks at all when he sees another dog or bicycle. My boys also seem more happy to keep playing or walking, rather than break to bark like they used to when a dog or person passed by. This product fits comfortably in my hand . It comes with a beeper button and a button which sends the silent Sound to the dogs. Very easy and simple. We hardly need to use the Silent Sound button. The dogs have become accustomed to hearing the Beeper button and know it means " no bark", if we need to push it briefly. We are so very happy with this product, and have already offer this as a suggestion to a friend for their dog. We recommend to you as well, as a safe, humane solution.

I was skeptical about this product, as similar ones had mixed reviews. However I got this to help train my dog to stop barking and whining at noises in ur apartment, and she HATES the sound. I use it very limitedly, and the warning sound is an A+ add-on, as the dog will eventually learn to associate the beep with the sonic sound and stop the behavior without needing to use the sonic feature. After a while she gets used to it, so I switch the setting, and it works over and over. That said, they will get used to it, so I wouldn't recommend using it as a primary training tool, rather something to supplement what you are doing. A final 'punishment' if you will. Another AMAZING feature I discovered, is that it works for other dogs too, especially if they've never encountered it. On the second day of owning the device, I took my dog out for a run, and another person was out with their dog off leash. They made 0 attempt to grab their dog, which was annoying, and it came sprinting at my dog who has had a history of abuse and intimidation by other dogs, so she is very territorial. Usually, she would put her hackles up and try to jump at the dog, but I simply stopped, told her to sit, and pointed the device at the incoming dog and fired it. I literally never write reviews, but the second the dog heard the sound, it immediately flipped around in-step and ran back to its terrible owner who got a glare from me, and we continued on our way. If you have a dog that gets stuck in 'lizard brain' and can't be consoled for training, this is an EXCELLENT product to regain their attention. If you frequently encounter stray dogs, irresponsible owners, or are a delivery person of any kind, I would highly recommend considering this product as it WORKS.

I found the ultrasonic repeller set to be a good value for the price. I like that the unit fits nicely in my hand, has a wrist strap and doesn’t require batteries (rechargeable with included charging cord). It’s simple to use and effective for how I’m using it. I’m training my dog not to bark/lunge at people/other dogs when walking in the neighborhood; I started by hitting the sound button on the device while simultaneously giving the verbal command “leave it” when people/dogs got close enough that my dog started alerting to them but hadn’t started barking yet. I continued activating the sound device and repeating verbal command as we passed by. After only 2 walking sessions of doing this, I now only have to hit button as people/dogs are approaching/passing by. This device is working so well that I have expectations of only having to hit button once when we see people/dogs approaching and my dog eventually not needing the device to keep its behavior in check but I will continue to carry it with me because the sound stops the other dogs we encounter from barking/lunging behavior.
