This worked better than an ecollar for our Aussie. He is over the top reactive to cars/ couldn’t walk him at all. Spun in circles and flipped out when cars going by. People would laugh and point. He was totally uncontrollable. I probably needed to turn ecollar up to 99. He also flips out at deer in back yard (constant flow of deer). But this thing changed everything! We have not even had to use the ultrasonic part of this. We just use the sound and he listens!! He stops crazy barking at the deer instantly and now I barely ever beep it when walking him. He is a totally different dog now and I actually like taking him for walks now. I don’t want to use it too much for fear he will get used to it and revert back but so far so good! I recommend getting this for a reactive dog or ones who love chasing moving vehicles or animals.

I was honestly skeptical when I first bought this bark deterrent device. I wasn't sure it would actually work, and I was a little worried that it might be difficult to figure out. Thankfully, I was wrong on both counts! My Coton de Tulear tends to bark at people when she's nervous, especially in crowds or unfamiliar situations. Since using this device, I've noticed a significant improvement. It helps interrupt the barking and encourages her to settle down much more quickly. It's also worked well with my other Coton, which was a nice bonus. One thing I've noticed is that it may not work the same way for every dog. I imagine it depends on the dog's personality and temperament. However, for my dogs, it has been very effective and has helped make outings and social situations much less stressful. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. It's simple to use, works as advertised, and has helped curb unwanted barking. I would definitely recommend giving it a try! 🐾

I have 2 dogs. One angel, and one maniac. Shock collar works fine on the maniac, and only needs a tone, but I'm not the type that thinks ahead and puts the collar on all the time. Besides, I don't like him wearing it all day. When he wants a treat, or someone comes over, he's absolutely ungovernable. Barking constantly, and often with a high pitch that makes everyone crazy. I decided to try this, and it works really well. He noticeably reacts, and stops barking. It can take a couple times to make him totally give up, but it's a huge relief. The other angel dog doesn't even seem to notice, and rarely does anything wrong anyway. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is that if the results were reversed, and the maniac didn't notice but the good dog did, it wouldn't be great.

This was exactly what we needed! We adopted a large 2 y.o. fixed male in May. He has been a gem except the barking and jumping. Despite our experience with many dogs over 3 decades, nothing we were doing was working. I bought this, read the instructions and other reviews, and boom— only had to use it 3 times (we chose supersonic, no noise) and it worked! Our neighbor D came over and he was impressed, because our dog had been over-exuberantly greeting D for months with jumps and barking. I took out the “orange remote” and BINGO, no bark, no jump! Thank you mucho!!! We love it and recommend it!!

I'm not sure if this product is as effective as I think! There's a neighbor's dog who is outside and a constant, habitual barker. I started using this, and it has calmed him down! He barks much less, but I can't tell if it's just coincidence that he stops when I go outside, or it's really that effective! I am leaning towards it being a highly effective product to disrupt a dog who is just 'blindly barking' and needs something to interrupt the process.

I have a mini dachshund who loves to bark at his shadow. I was very skeptical about getting a device like this because I thought it wouldn’t work. I tried it the first day and he automatically heard it and it distracted him from barking. With my dog specifically I can’t show him the actual device or he will bark more because he wants to try to attack it. So I have to be discreet and hide it from him and click it and he will get distracted enough to stop barking at me. I love it! Definitely worth it! Easy to use, and the battery life is strong, I haven’t charged it yet and it’s been a week!

Such a relief to no longer have people looking at me with judgement because nothing I do stops my dog from frantically barking at every car, bike or scooter that he saw. Even if he thought a neighbor was headed to their car he started barking extremely. I've tried clickers, toys, treats, time outs, scolding and did my best to keep him inside at times my neighbors were going to their cars. The first night I had this it was after dark when I took him out. Sure enough a car drove down my dead end street and he started barking. I prayed please let this device work. I pressed a button and he stopped mid bark. He turned and looked at me. I was able to direct him to a part of the yard where he couldn't see the car. I almost cried I was so happy that something finally works. Well it worked great the first night but now it has no affect on him. I don't know if there's anything that will work. So much money spent trying already.

It has definitely cut down on our little girl's barking (at leaves, squrrels, people, rabbits, nothing, other dogs barking, etc.). She had a tendency to almost get lost in the barking and not hear our commands to "Quiet". The lower frequency usually works. If she's a distance away (on our second floor), the higher frequency is able to get her attention. It doesn't seem to hurt her, but she is interested in trying to figure out what that sound was and how it was made.
