  • Comfortable tennis elbow strap
I have cubital tunnel, not the same as carpal tunnel, in one arm and have used Futuro tennis elbow straps for the past 20+ years to alleviate pain while using a keyboard. I decided it was time to try a different strap and so far I'm pleased with the results. The attached pictures show the Dr. Roo strap next to my well used Futuro strap. As you can see, the compression pads are a bit differently shaped but the center portion is what matters the most, at least for me, and that width is comparable to the Futuro. It fits well and stays in place comfortably. This strap has two velcro tabs to adjust the fit whereas my Futuro has one. Since I'm putting it on myself, I really only need one tab for adjustment and after fiddling with it for a minute I got it set to where I can put it on and take it off using just one tab. The strap appears to be well made and the stitching looks solid. The strap is wider on my arm than my old one, at least the portion that covers the tendon, but then tapers off nicely to a narrower portion. So far that is working well and makes me think this is a good value for the money. ... show more

  • Not sure exactly
This seems to work better than the other ones I have. I have tennis elbow and can't seem to get it to heal. This is the 3rd brace I've ordered. It's very easy to put on and it feels supportive. The only problem is the directions are confusing. It explains how to use it for tennis/golf elbow but the directions seem to be the same?? I'm not sure I am using it correctly. I wish the directions were more clear. Would recommend. ... show more

  • Better than my other brace
I’ve had tennis elbow for a few months… I think it’s a chain reaction form hurting my shoulder a few years ago and changing the way I hold things and move, especially when gardening. I’ve got another brace, it’s bulky but helps… I wanted to give this one a try because it’s a lot smaller and has a thicker pad to put pressure on the sore spot. It does help, I love the fact that it’s slimmer and lighter weight while still providing support. I have no problems putting it on, but I have issues getting it in the right spot and tight enough to work, but not too tight to dig into my forearm. It helps but still not as much as I had hoped so far. ... show more

  • Feels good
This is perfect to add pressure to the exact spot to make the elbow and the muscles in that area feel better. This is very easy to use and quick to put on and take off.

  • Larger than expected, but does a good job
I suffered an injury to my elbow several years ago, and it took over a year for it to finally heal. During the healing process I used an elbow brace to provide support, and now that I am fully recovered I still use the brace in order to keep the elbow from getting re-injured. Since the time that I initially injured my elbow, I have used several brands of elbow brace, which I'd swap out regularly. But they've come to the end of their lifecycle, so I picked up this brace from Doctor Roo. This brace is similar to the others I've used. It has adjustable hook-and-loop Velcro straps to keep it in place, and a thick padded area that provides compression. It's a good brace and does what it is supposed to do, but it is bigger than my previous braces. I am rather small, so the brace is quite noticeable on my arm, but really, who cares as long as it works? ... show more
