You can't argue with the price; these were very reasonable. And I like that they are thin and lightweight. However, they don't really offer a great deal of support/compression for the thumb. Also, there is, apparently, a version with a thinner wrist support, but I didn't see those on Amazon. Since I don't need wrist support, just a thumb splint/brace, I would have preferred those. I've doubled over the wrist piece to make it more compact, but it does start to irritate after a while. But the main thing is, I would have preferred more support for my thumb. ... show more

I injured my left thumb, so I bought a thumb guard and am using it. It was too hard, so I only used it when I was working. But I saw this product, bought it, tried it, and am very satisfied. It's not hard, so it's very comfortable when I go about my daily life and not work. It's cheap, too. It works well as a protector and is made of compressed fabric, making it very convenient to use. I injured my thumb with kitchen scissors and I was hoping this would help add support. It's a bit flimsy. I do like that it isn't like a big brace. I wouldn't buy again or recommend it. It needs to be a little thicker.

Not going to return, however, can not recommend nor would I buy again. Very thin and non supportive material; if used under an actual pressure glove may help. Does not help my thumb issue. Attractive; can wear my watch. Extremely hard to put on take off like a too small wetsuit!
