Really surprised at the unit as a whole. Came with everything installed and unfortunately no warning that you MUST open up the drive shaft at the propeller and install gear oil. NO WHERE in the manual does it say this… So, installed the gear oil, the engine oil and some 92 octane TruFuel and it started on the second pull. It dirties up the spark plugs and pushed my boat almost 5 mph containing nearly a thousand pounds including boat, myself and the wife filled with gear. FOR the price you just can’t complain! It’s a bit noisy but I can’t argue it gets you around. I changed the first oil change after ONLY the first hour and a second change at two hours. Pushed it on a lake for nearly a full 45 minutes at full throttle (after that) and no issues. Really not a bad little motor!! ... show more

Was priced low. Economy model. Does the job for small motors. Motors over 100# makes it shaky. Braces only rest in a notch. Should be attached (bolted) to add security. It is shaky under load. First one returned as parts were missing. Axel and wheels.
