Seems like a good quality pump. I'm using it to power a koi pond skimmer / push water to a waterfall. Pump seems heavily built, very rigid prefilter cage. My last pump, a Laguna, had a petty flimsy prefilter cage...this one can't even be bent. Pump is pretty small for the amount of water that it puts out...again, smaller than my previous Laguna pump but puts out more water. I like that it comes with a prefilter bag. Electrical cord is SUPER long...over 32'. Pump has a nice instruction manual and has a 1 year warranty / lifetime support. Tip: pay attention to the "Choose suitable pump from comparison chart" image in the product description....the "hose adapter" size is different for different pumps. Luckily I chose a pump that fit my tubing diameter that goes from the pump to the waterfall. Make sure you choose a pump whose hose adapter fits your tubing. This pump does not pump 3000 GPU . UPDATE the company reached out to me and resolved the issue , not many companies would do that , i recommend doing business with these guys , they stand behind their products .

Replaced a directline LEADER ECOSUB 420 3960 GPH as a submersible fountain pump. After creating the PVC piping to direct to my floating fountain head, product worked well (6900 GPH). Would be even better with a 50 ft cord!

How ever I contacted them and spoke to their trouble shooting department and After determining the pump was defective they sent a replacement and everything is working fine now.
